Hey Jesus lover, many of my friends over the years have not been Christian. Some of them became Christian, some did not. Before I had an experience of Jesus and was saved, I had one friend who was very strong into the occult. He gave me some books which influenced me. That made me hungry for the truth as I thought there must be some hidden secret to god, life and the cosmos. However, as I sought, I ended up experiencing this Power and it told me to believe in the Jesus of the Bible. Nothing to do with the occult. I was hoping for something a bit more exciting as I thought Jesus was myth. However, I started believing and sloowwly my life started turning around from miserable to better. Totally awesome! However, my friend in the occult stayed in it even though his life was not okay. Over the years we moved away from each other and I don't know what happened to him. I am telling you this so you know where I am coming from.
You are not responsible for what your friend believes. If you talk about God stuff and she rejects it, that is her decision, not yours. However, you are responsible for your own walk with God. It needs to be your walk, not simply following your parents. So be very careful about the occult influences from your friend and her parents. My friend who was in the occult, he was okay as a friend but would lie to me and when he wanted us to do stuff against the law, I would have nothing to do with it. Which meant our friendship got weaker over time as I would not compromise my integrity. Same with you. Be a friend but guard your faith and your integrity. Over the years, the best friends I have ever had have been Christians as we could talk about all sorts of things including some of the really weird stuff that can happen when you pray but you do not want to tell a non-believer as it sounds like crazy stuff.
