Hey you all
How are things? I’ve been working out a lot and just trying to take things easy. Eagerly anticipating the arrival of my baby girl. Wife is now at 22 weeks.

I got a very nice bonus at work and I used it to pay down a credit card. That was a relief.

I went to a gun show last weekend and got my hands on some Ww2 memorabilia that will likely be worth a lot of money in the future. I’ll be looking out for that kind of thing in my travels.

Overall things aren’t too bad at the moment. I’m doing ok.

Are you buying diapers and wipes yet?

Stashing them for when the baby arrives.

I tell you what, my first wife was a total financial disaster...but the one thing that she did which was smart was to stockpile diapers and wipes so when the baby arrived we didn't have to go out and buy those every week...
Two packs a week is about standard. Don't sweat getting the right size because stores will let you swap them out for the correct size. And it's not like they will spoil.

taking things easy till the baby arrives is smart -

i had a friend who prayed while his wife was pregnant that the baby would be a happy quiet baby - i guess he couldn't handle crying and stuff

well his wife and he had a beautiful little boy who was amazingly cheery and quiet - kinda like that christmas song "no crying he makes" - i was impressed that God answered that prayer for my friend

praying for your wife to have an easy safe delivery and your baby to be strong and healthy
