Arachibutyrophobia- Fear of peanut butter sticking to the roof of the mouth. NO JIF OR SKIPPY EVER IN THAT HOUSE!

ANOTHER good one to have, HEY MEN! LOOK! YOU SHOULD HAVE THIS FEAR!!! Cypridophobia or Cypriphobia or Cyprianophobia or Cyprinophobia - Fear of prostitutes or venereal disease.

Anablephobia- Fear of looking up. No kite flying for YOU!!

It's ALLLLL black and white!! Chromophobia or Chromatophobia- Fear of colors.
Scopophobia or Scoptophobia- Fear of being seen or stared at.

Sinophobia- Fear of Chinese, Chinese culture.

Jerusalem Crickets (or potato bugs). They are all over Southern California.

It took all my self control even to find a link to a picture of this nasty bug...I have no idea why I can't stand these things, but I can't.

That looks like a cross between a termite and a roach.

My dad got me over my fear of spiders, by telling me spiders wear top hats, and tuxedos, and twirl a cane, when they go out to parties.
So, imagine Potato bugs wearing overalls, and a hard hat, and
carrying a little lunch box to their work.

I'm not afraid of spiders at all. I let them live in the house, unless they're pizenous. My zoology professor used that word, and I've liked it ever since.

Living in this tropical JUNGLE here, spiders are good for catching and eating the stray flies that buzz in sometimes, during the summer.

hot outside, you could smell them walking towards you, 8 feet away.
ICK!
Then, they LEAN in towards you to talk, and you want to hand them
a toothbrush.

There's one thing I'm afraid of, at the moment, and that's : Vibrio Vulnificus
Why....what is THAT, you puzzle?
Before your puzzler gets too puzzed, I'll tell you.
There is some kind of "bloom" going on in the St. John's River, and it's producing that bacteria, vibrio vulnificus.
A woman died within 48 hours of contracting it. She went water skiing on the St. John's, I guess she didn't know about this being in the water, and she DIED.
I'd never water ski in this river.

Anyways. Here's some information, and I want to know why there isn't MORE being said about this. It's a killer.

Yeah, espically right now when we are dealing with 110 heat index it really gets stinky! No peppermints just suckers. I've told some of the ones that work here with me that we need to give out little bars of soap and deoderant too.

Oh my word, you poor person! I hope that you weren't stung too much. Like you said, though, it's a good thing you aren't allergic.

Well, I have this irrational dislike for earthworms. I can honestly be chased around the yard to avoid being touched by one. I absolutely hate the feel of them. (What's funny is that I have disected two in my lifetime, and I had to do the touching. However, I was wearing gloves and the things were dead.)

I do have a strong fear of snakes. My rule is, "If it slithers, it has every reason to be killed." I would be the epitome of the verse in the Bible where God tells the serpent, "I will put enmity between you and woman, and between your offspring and hers." (Genesis 3:15a)

That's just me, though. You know, now that I think about it, maybe I just don't like things that are cold-blooded and legless. Anyway...
