No, I am equating the practice of sexual perversion or lusting in ones heart to have sex with the same gender as sin.

Amen. Personally, I thought I had given it a well balance, rightly divided, biblical treatment devoid of personal judgementalizim and full of the Love God has for sinners of any type. Oh well, I guess not. :)

That's because you're both equating the homosexual predisposition with sin. Your knowledge about the human condition is limited to one book that does NOT have all the answers. A homosexual orientation is no more a sin than is a heterosexual orientation. Both types of people, however, are capable of sinning. See, I can be just as much the expert as you guys. Feel free to prove me wrong if you feel you can.

Not only that, since you are both sinners yourselves (the Bible tells me that no one is righteous), neither one of you can afford to point the finger at anyone else. But ...as long as you're both so bent on reforming sinners, you might be better off leaving this topic alone and concentrating more as to how you can eliminate sin from your own lives. It can't do any harm, can it? Just a thought.

God did not ordain that any of man should be that way.

Because God doesn't 'make' a person to begin with.

You have not one single biblical reason to think that God ever made even one man a homosexual, so you are lying from the start.

Well, Paul concentrate on pulling the plank out of your eye before you start concentrating on the sins of others. My bible says "all have sinned" so maybe you should stop preaching against sin and get your own house in order.

Oh... and it's okay for me to point out your sin of pride and arrogance you big fraud! That's right Mr. thinks he's perfect! I can tell you to repent but when it comes to me and my sins... butt out!

Folks, we do have a bible. It's fairly clear that it's a sin. Sorry that doesn't float your boat, but it is fact.

Queers are queer because God says so, not because I say so.

If you need a comparison, adulterers are adulterers. The bible is very clear there too.

So you see. Spade a spade. ace and ace, etc...

Ephesians 4:28 Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.

Todays modern Christian will use the argument to stop people from saying that sexual relations with the same sex is wrong and should be repented from by saying that anyone with any sin at all in their life has no right to point their fingers at others.

What kind of logic is that?

The scripture states.

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Does this mean that no one is qualified to say that stealing, adultery, murder, and rape is wrong? After all there is none good, all have sinned.

This is not a matter of discerning sin. It is a matter of doing it in the love and admonition of the Lord and not doing it in a way that is slanderous and demeaning. Telling someone that God loves them but that He wants something better for them and cannot accept sin is a far cry from calling them names.

What I DO see this as saying is ...don't choose to target one particular group of people for their sins to the exclusion of your own. I see a huge lack of one particular Christian ingredient in your posts, BB.

There is no shortage of practicing homosexuals that accepts that the Bible is the Word of God. Just as we have here... they interpret the scripture different than many here.

I choose to let God tell them. I feel it better to let them know about the love God has for them and lead them into a relationship with Him. God will convict of sin. I did not have to have someone sit me down and tell me everything that God did not like in my life. My relationship to Him and reading His Word was enough to do that. The Holy Ghost has the job of convicting. I am only here to tell people about God and the wonderous thing He has done for us by sending His Son to die for our sins. God will let them know what those are.

I can guarantee though that no homosexual will be drawn to God through someones chanting "pervert, sodomite, sicko" at them. Nobody is drawn to love through hateful tactics.

Hebrews 12:5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:

Hebrews 12:6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

Hebrews 12:7 If ye endure chastening, God daleth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?

Hebrews 12:8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

We are to preach against sin not gloss it over or ignore it.

Leaving out what is sin is not love it is a gross omission.

That type of love leaves men uninformed of what God's word says about sin and it's consequences.

There is no shortage of practicing homosexuals that accepts that the Bible is the Word of God. Just as we have here... they interpret the scripture different than many here.

They don't accept God's word or they would get out of that cesspool of perversion and change their lilves unless they just conveniently overlooked scripture on those that practice such things.

Jesus sure didn't mince words did he? How about fornicators, adulterers, generation of vipers, fools and blind, hypocrits. If he didn't have a problem with putting a name to those that practiced such things, why do you? I think you like a "Love Gospel" more than Jesus' Gospel. Want to hear some real name calling by our Saviour? Read the 23rd Chapter of Matthew as he addressed the Pharisees. However, since you don't like having the Catholics "picked on" I can see you contempt for those who place a tag on homosexuals (queers). God didn't make anyone like this...they choose this lifestyle and if they plan on being Heaven bound they had best change their act! Forgiveness is for all, but; God won't tolerate a continued lifestyle contrary to his plan which wasn't Adam and Steve.
 
I see an unsaved blind man walking towards a thousand foot cliff. I run up to him and frantically tell him about the love of Jesus, and how he can be saved right now merely by accepting the forgiveness of sin that has already been provided for him. The man is convicted and accepts Jesus as his Lord and Saviour.

As I walk away smug in the notion that all I did was present the Love of God to him, I wonder if true Love would have told him about the cliff too.
