John,
Which part is not exactly right???

1. The Pope wants a one-world religion.
This is what he's after. He wants to get along with everyone, and I don't mean in a nice Christianly way like other Popes in modern times. He'd like to melt every religion into one. You'd have to read what he says. I get the info from my Catholic girlfriends. They're pretty upset over this too. I've read what he says on the internet and he does want some kind of just "getting along" with every religion. This is not possible. No other leader of any religion claimed to be God. Christianity is different from every other religion.
We do not seek God...But God seeks us.

2. Islam would win, not Chritianity.
You say some whackos are running the place. First of all, I believe that although not all Muslims are violent, most of them agree, in belief system, what the violent ones are doing...starting a jihad war. They secretly cheer when the West is shown to be the coward they perceive.

Second of all, just look at what these "whackos" are doing. Christians are being killed all over the globe. Christian churches are being bombed on a regular basis. Children are being used as human shields and trained to be human bombs. Chrisitans are beheaded, and worse, every day.

Are we becoming desensitized to all this? These whackos are going to take over unless we awaken and stop them somehow.

Already we have people afraid to go to London and Paris. Brussels is a mess. Syria no longer exists. Libya is not far behind. Iraq, Afghanistan, countries in Africa, Europe. Do you not see that we're being overrun?

We might also want to consider Hitler to have been a whacko, but look at the damage inflicted by him. The same is happening now with Jihadist Muslims.
About this One world religion I disagree with the idea. but we do believe that, Our Lord Jesus will make his intersession due to: I Thessalonians 4:1-18

Well W and D
I agree with you.

I don't agree with a one world religion or a one world order either. I don't really think it'll have time to come about.
It would take generations to get there and I don't think we have many generations left.
Crazy people have the bomb, North Korea, Iran, who knows what will happen.

It IS interesting that the Thessalonians thought Jesus was coming back immanently.

We're in God's hands.

In its context, they were being troubled by crazy people saying He had already come.

They were concerned they got left behind.:eek2

Wondering, If you would believe on Jesus Christ just as he alone have said, and try your best to work out your soul salvation in fear and trembling as the scriptures have said, then, out shall flow rivers of living waters. He or She will be saved, because these battles are not ours, but they belong to the Lord. As you have said in the above statement.

He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. John 7:38

But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

LOL
Really?
I learned that they had stopped going to work and doing what they were supposed to do because they thought Jesus would come back any day. Check out Thes 1 chapters 4 and 5 and 2 Thes chapters 2 and 3 and tell me what you think.

Yes, really. :) I was 'taught' that they were expecting His return any moment also. But once I started just reading it for what it is, I realized that in 1 Thessalonians they were just being taught "normal stuff" being a young church as they were(new believers). The only thing I see in 1 Thessalonians is the phrase; "we who are alive, who are left". I think this is what most people base the whole imminent thought on. I do believe Paul taught for all church's to be ready, and taught them as if the 'season' of His return could begin at any moment. I would not call their belief in His return as imminent. I believe there is a difference between hoping He will come quickly and belief that He will appear at any moment.

In 2 Thessalonians is where I find the most telling aspect. The believers there were troubled by some who said the resurrection had already happened. Maybe they thought they were living in the millennium? Either way, they thought they had missed out and their hope in Him was beginning to fade. So Paul laid it out - first the 'rebellion' has to take place and the man of sin is revealed. Paul clearly states they can have full faith the gathering together with Christ has not happened simply because the rebellion and lawless one had not yet been revealed.

Paul may have thought this could happen in his lifetime - but he knew it had to happen first, and used it as a 'reference point' for the Thessalonians to help them calm down. So needless to say, they did not think the return was imminent.........they thought it had already happened. lol They were just simply confused and troubled by some yahoo's. But Paul was able to give them words of comfort for them to then comfort others.

One thing to consider is that the return of Christ is spoken of as a thief in the night. However, when it is spoken as such it is spoken to people who have no faith or who are being lazy. For those who are truly waiting for Him, looking for Him, they are refereed to as people walking around in the day - most likely speaking of the daylight hours before the thief comes that night. They are said to see the condition of the times, and therefore will not be surprised.

Thanks Nathan.
Will reread Thessalonians.

"out shall flow rivers of living water"
What does this mean?
To me, this is why I said, once a person believes in Jesus as what he have said in the scriptures, and he knows whoever is faithful and doing the works until the end of time.

Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. Matthew 24:46
http://biblehub.com/matthew/24-46.htm

John 7:38 This is from The Adam Clarke Commentary
He that believeth on me, as the Scripture hath said - He who receives me as the Messiah, according to what the Scripture has said concerning me; my person, birth, conduct, preaching, and miracles, being compared with what is written there as ascertaining the true Messiah. Out of his belly - from his heart and soul; for in his soul shall this Spirit dwell.

Living water - As a true spring is ever supplied with water from the great deep, with which it has communication, so shall the soul of the genuine believer be supplied with light, life, love, and liberty, and all the other graces of the indwelling Spirit, from the indwelling Christ.

The Jews frequently compare the gifts and influences of the Holy Spirit to water in general - to rain, fountains, wells, rivers, etc., etc. The Scriptures abound in this metaphor.

Psalm 36:8, Psalm 36:9; Isaiah 44:3, Isaiah 44:4; Joel 2:23.

The below, Which maybe hard to grasp wright now for some people, because of Jesus customs:

Living Water: The below is talking about The Feast of Tabernacles in verse 37, but verse 38. Is talking about how a person believes in Christ at that time of the feast season, for those that have that spirit of the feast.

37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. 38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. 39(But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

VATICAN CITY (Reuters) - Pope Francis hopes to mend ties with Muslims on his trip to Egypt on Friday but faces criticism from church conservatives for meeting Islamic religious leaders after a spate of deadly attacks against Christians.

In a video message to the people of Egypt on Tuesday, Francis said the world had been "torn by blind violence, which has also afflicted the heart of the your dear land" and said he hoped his trip could help peace and inter-religious dialogue.

Security is a primary concern less than three weeks after 45 people were killed in attacks on Coptic Christian churches in Alexandria and Tanta, claimed by Islamic State, on Palm Sunday.

Is this just a pipe dream by Pope Francis or could Christianity (all of it) come to some agreement to coexist with Islam?

Origins Of Islam, & Connection To Catholicism. Both Are Pagan, & Into Sun god & Moon god Worship.

About this One world religion I disagree with the idea. but we do believe that, Our Lord Jesus will make his intersession due to: I Thessalonians 4:1-18
Not until thd Rapture and as the Spirit has revealed to me, those seven years will be controlled by the same one world government.

People in the name of Jesus, Hari Krishna, Buddah, and Dawkins are not killing people and blowing things up because there offended. As return says there is punishment for those who corrupt, cause mischief, or wage war against Islam, and the Quran clearly says the people who cause corruption and mischief and wage war against islam are the non believers in Mohamuds word and Islam.

Its called tolerance. Have tolerance. Wear a hijab today.
