Do your homework and find out what 'justification' actually means for the believer in Paul's teaching. It DOESN'T mean sinless perfection in the life of the believer. You're arguing against an argument for sinless perfection that no one in the church has. And worst of all, doing that to defend unrepentant sin in the believer. It's all part of this hyper-grace movement sweeping through the church right now. My unsaved son told me about a so-called 'Christian' sitting in a bar with him one night getting drunk off his butt telling him about all about this hyper-grace that allows him to do that (get drunk) and still be saved.

IF you think you are hearing HYPER GRACE to my flesh or the flesh of any other, you are not listening very well.

The flesh is factually against and contrary to the Spirit. Does that sound like GRACE to the flesh to you?

Uh, no. We sit in our own contrary hide.

No, shame on you for saying there is glory in sin, but not in the blood of Christ.

See, there you go again Jethro. You just can't seem to help yourself, can you? I should expect an apology from you for continuing to misrepresent what I have said, but I shall not hold my breath, for I suspect that you only use Matt 18:21-22 as a means to condemn someone else, but really have not taken it to heart. Had you actually taken those words to heart, then you should have asked forgiveness of me for falsely accusing me of blasphemy.

I NEVER SAID THERE IS GLORY IN SIN. I SAID THERE IS VIRTUE TO BE FOUND IN SIN. BIG, BIG, BIG DIFFERENCE.
I NEVER SAID THERE IS NO GLORY IN THE BLOOD OF CHRIST, NOR DID I SAY THERE IS NO VIRTUE ON THE BLOOD OF CHRIST.

PLEASE STOP TWISTING THE WORDS THAT I HAVE SAID INTO SOMETHING THAT SUITES YOUR OWN AGENDA. YOU SHOULD KNOW BETTER THAN TO CONTINUE TO BEAR FALSE WITNESS.

The virtue I was talking about is finding virtue in sin, and sin alone. Nothing more. But you keep trying to attached other things to it. If you can find no virtue in sin, then leave it at that. Please stop trying to make this about anything other than finding virtue in sin and misrepresenting what I have said. If you continue in this manner and show now respect toward a brother according to Matt 18:21-22, then what is my recourse, shall I report you to a moderator?

Hebrews 6:4-6
For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance;seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

There is still at least one more reason that Christ was put to death in the flesh, but it is something that I shall not discuss at this time.

What does Hebrews 6:4-6 have to do with what's being discussed?
I usually apply this scripture to fallen away Christians, as it clearly states.

Yes, they are fallen away Christians. But don't just read over what they are fallen away into. They have fallen away to renew once again unto repentance.

Forgetting what we were discussing and going on to Hebrews 6:4-6
Are you saying above that they have fallen away to once again be renewed unto repentence??

That's not what Hebrews is saying.
Which is why I use it to show that believers could fall away.

It says That some were once enlightened, had tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Spirit. They had tasted of the good word of God (which brings unto salvation)

and THEN have fallen away, it is IMPOSSIBLE to renew them again to repentence.

It's NOT saying that they're renewed unto repentence, it says that it'll be impossible to renew them again unto repentance.

It even goes on to say that they crucify Christ again unto shame and if the ground yields thorns and thistles it is worthless and will end up being burned.
