Okay so this is a less serious and more lighthearted thread. :)

Lots of folk, women and men, get their ears pierced these days, so how many holes do people have pierced altogether, in their ears? (I think we can count earlobes and cartilage).

:chin

None currently. But I'd consider getting my ears pierced one day. The main thing that would keep me from getting it done is...I don't like pain. xD

Haha yeah. I would not like that...I can't stand looking at gauges or however you spell them. If I had a hole in my ear I want it from a close to life/death situation not choice.

questdriven:

Some people use a numbing agent, though to pierce their ears most people don't bother to use it. Actually earlobes (which is presumably what are thinking having done) hurt less than cartilage.

As a matter of fact, in the long run it hurts less to pierce the earlobes than it does to wear clip ons, which often get uncomfortable after a while.

Blessings.

I have four, two in each ear. I didn't get my ears pierced until I was 30 years old.

These are enough piercings for me, but I'm glad I got it done.

Yes, it's classy when the holes are doubles each side, isn't it?

You must have been wanting to do it for a long time before you actually went under the gun (or needle, whatever).

Take care.

From tattoos to piercings, lol. :biggrin

I don't have any piercings, and don't plan on getting any. I just don't see the point - I don't have any particular like towards them (but I don't dislike them), and add to that the initial pain and risk of infection...nah. Couldn't be bothered.

I'd consider a tattoo, but there are many many many threads on that ;)

Nick:

Ty for your comment. :)

Blessings.

PS: Believe me, re. the slight pain, there are a lot of brave folk out there...

Psa_22:16 For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.

It is better to be circumcised in ear than pierced there.

I have 2 or 3 that still work. If I had it to do all over again I would have 0 other than those I am meant to hear out of.

OK Shane:

Sounds like you still use them sometimes? (In both ears, maybe?)

Maybe the ink and piercings is your opening to bring that lost person to Christ.

You also made an interesting point a while back.

Blessings.
