That's correct Brother, I agree with you. I think we're talking about the same thing in two threads, post in the other thread will work here too, lol..

[God does want us to obey Him. That is veerry important. After Jesus came, the 10 commandments were essentially summed up in two of them. Te first of which is to love God with all of our heart soul and mind. The second is like unto it but to love your neighbor as yourself. That covers a lot of ground, and if we fail to do this, we're essentially turning our backs on our faith and our God by not loving our neighbors as ourselves. Without works, our faith is dead. Fit to be spewed out of God's mouth at that point, and to run the risk of hearing the Lord say, I never knew you.

To whom much is given, much will be required. So there's not really a case to be made for oh don't do any good works, wouldn't want to slip into legalism her her...that's a lack of fear and reverence to God right there. The danger of being a hearer and not a doer is real and we have been warned. It's almost akin to getting a job and then not producing, you run the risk of being fired. (No pun intended). By their fruits you will recognize them.]

Wrong response. This is the Theology forum where one must use Scripture to prove their point. You can't just say something that you believe is in Scripture and not give the biblical reference, especially when asked.

I'm sure the moderator as well as other have.

On what he has done for us.........His Gospel.

And we have freewill, total freewill, to reject or accept His offer to us. He Hides His Cross from NO ONE.........even Pharaoh. Pharaoh was shown time and time again Gods will.

And I answered your question. We base our decision on believing in Him by our freewill and what He has done for ALL mankind......to accept His offer or not. That is why he is totally Justified to send unbelievers to the LoF. He did ALL he could do for us without violating our freewill. And He can Judge in righteousness.

Before the LORD, for He is coming to judge the earth; He will judge the world with righteousness And the peoples with equity.

Salvation is equal privilege for ALL.................simply believe/trust in Him. Those who don't believe are justifiably sent to the Lof.

44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.../

What is the reason Jesus told the 12 disciples that no man can come to Him except the Father which hath sent me draw him?

Why do you continue to refuse to provide n answer to the question? What do we base our decision to accept Christ or reject Christ on?
Do people accept Jesus because they heard a good sermon? Had a good Sunday school teacher? Reject Jesus because of their high school science teacher?

....some how the message is heard....then ran through the filter of your mind...and a decision is reached. Yes?
