One of the best ways to discover how to be closer to God is to realize that its all about your focus.
Focus.
Focus.
Focus.
Focus, is the main thing, and in fact your mind's focus is the literal spiritual yardstick that measures how close you are to God and Christ.....or how close you are NOT to them.
The devil also knows this, and his "main thing" is to get your focus off of God and onto something "interesting" and thereby lead you and your flesh to make it a compulsion, an obsession, a habit and a lifestyle., as in this way the devil is controlling both your focus and your time, and that is exactly what he wants from you.
So, how much of you does he have?
Would you like to know?
Lets find out.
See, if Satan is controlling your focus, then he is controlling your time, and if that is happening, he is in fact in control of YOU to whatever level and degree he controls both of those aspects of your life..
Its a fact that someone is running you....operating you....... and you need to fact check yourself about this so that you can know who is literally controlling the show in your world.
So, im going to tell you how you can check yourself and then you need to do it.
Today.
And your pastor is not going to tell you, and the other forum members here are not going to tell you, and you cant find this in any book in your favorite bible bookstore.
You'll get this from me, or you wont get it, so, use it carefully and use it for the rest of your life, day by day.
So, .. how do you know exactly where you are in Satan's plan for your life ?, To what degree you are in his control, all according to his purpose for you?.
If you could know this, would it not be a revelation that can help you like no other?
Now.....what im going to show you is how you find out,. and its so very simple and so very powerful a tool you can use everyday to keep yourself "in the spirit" and self informed regarding just how much influence Satan is having in your life.
Here is what you do.....Its very simple...... You take an honest and sincere look inside yourself, inside your own mind.... and discern the intensity you have for anything and everything else that takes up your daily time as compared to the intensity you have for "God stuff".... And if you have more intensity of desire for anything else, for all those other things in your life as compared to the intensity you should have that is so much greater for God and Jesus, then you have discovered the level of control the devil has in your life vs the level of faithfulness and self control you have for God and Christ.
Believe me when i tell you that God didnt hang on a cross to save you so that he can play in the backseat of your life, #25 on your list, of daily life priorities.
So, once you look inside yourself, you will see where He is located on your list of popular items based on the "intensity" you have for God and Christ, vs the intensity you have for all that other "stuff" that is burning your daily time by stealing your focus (as Satan would have it) every single day of your life.
And here is another thing...
Satan does not usually come at you with what you think he uses.......no....He comes at you with things that of themselves are not harmful, but they become harmful because they eat your life's time and focus your intensity on THEM.
Things like The INTERNET.......CELL PHONES.......CABLE TV...........SHOPPING ONLINE......Social Media Outlets.. or any type of time robbing daily pursuit that is robbing and reducing your intensity away from God and Christ .
These days, the big Christian "sins" are not really sexual in practice, but rather they are hourly and daily obsessions with anything that has a SCREEN attached to it.
"Satan is the prince of the power of the AIR"....and if you think of "air" as "Airwaves"....then you will comprehend a much better understanding of what is Satanically going on in the "air" all around you....24/7.
Listen....Take the average Christian and do not let them Text, or FaceBook, or Tweet, or use Social Media Forums, or the Cell phone, or go on the internet all all, or watch cable TV..... for one whole week.
Do this to them, fast them this way and you'll directly find out just how much control the Devil has over them, as most of them will pretty much freak out.
And right in there, regarding you and all those "harmless things"... and others, once you see the intensity you have for all of THAT, which is in direct proportion to how much less intensity you have for the things of GOD, = you can then find out exactly how much control that Satan has of you and your life.
Take a look inside.
Discover the real you that God knows all about.
If you find that you need to make a few changes, then dont wait till tomorrow, as tomorrow is not promised to you, Saint.
