I just published a book last month called How to Gain Victory Over Sin: Knowing the Sanctification of the Holy Spirit. It is based on Romans 6 through 8.

The printed version is available through Amazon.com (and elsewhere). The e-book version is free through Google Play and Smashwords. The Kindle version is $0.99, because they don't allow new free books by default. Hopefully that price will be dropped soon. I also have a PDF version available.

I have also done a few things on CreateSpace. How do you keep yours so cheap?
I haven't yet done Kindle...how is that working for you?
I've only sold a few...how are you doing, and do you have any helpful hints for a newbie like me?

The minimum price allowed by CreateSpace mainly depends on the number and size of the pages. My book is only 92 pages at 5.5 by 8.5 inches. Even though a larger page size would reduce the number of pages (given the same size print), it would also change the cost of the book significantly. My cost for the book from CreateSpace is about $3 each (including shipping), but they won't let me sell the book for less than about $5.35. I'm not concerned with making a profit, but I made a round $6.

That being said, paperback sales are low - almost non-existent. This is probably somewhat due to the book being freely available through Smashwords and Google Play. (Kindle 'sales' are lower than Smashwords and Google because I don't have a 'free' option.) I also don't do any real advertising.

I guess we're in the same boat, then. My "magnum opus', a beautiful novel called 'The First Sinner' is well over 700 pages...believe it or not, I've actually sold two copies. Plus I have a bunch of smaller books in your price range...so far I'm only sold a couple of those...
Ahh, well...at least they're "out there"...

While self-publishing is cheaper and easier in some ways, it is much harder to sell a lot of copies. I've sold 46 paperback copies of my first book, published in 2013.
