I just got back from church and we had a really great message about the fact that as Christians, regardless of the fact that we aren't perfect, we tend to beat ourselves up for our sins and unwilling to forgive ourselves as quickly as we are able to forgive other people. Anyway, as I let all of that sink in and learned that I should take it easier on myself, on the way back home, I started thinking about the cross necklace that I got for Christmas and then I thought for all of us who have owned or do own a dog. As required by law, all dogs have collars to show their ownership that they belong to someone. Even if they runaway, as long as their wearing their collars people will know who they belong to. And I figure that the cross that I wear is sort of the same thing. It is my identification tag to signify that I belong to Jesus. Even if I back slide from time to time I still belong to Him. For I know that He knows my heart and He is always willing to forgive me as long as I repent and seek forgiveness.

To wear a cross or not as many wear them, but are clueless of God's grace. Many Rappers are a good example. Your identification to others is in the fruit you display as you let the light of Christ shine through you that others will see that light and come to Christ.

I see what you're saying, but believe it or not there are such things as Christian rap artists. I rap a little bit myself, but I only do the cleaner and positive stuff.

I know there are Christian Rappers, but what I was getting at is that many wear a cross, but are like that of 2 Timothy 3:5 have a form of godliness, but deny the power thereof
