If a girl flirts with you, does that mean she likes you? What if she calls you sugar babe or pookie boo?
 
It all depends. I lived in the south for a while, and a waitress at a restaurant we frequented always called us honey, sugar, baby, darlin', and all manners of flirty names. But that was just her personality. She didn't want to take any of us to meet her parents or anything.

No, it doesn't. I can't count the amount of times girls have flirted with me, acted like they liked me, even TOLD me that they liked me, but in the end they found some creative way to crush my heart into ashes and stomp on it, leading me off a dang cliff.

The only way you can tell if a girl truely likes you, is if shes giving you a lot of attention. You can kind of tell by the way they look at you a lot, or if they get close to you a lot. Sometimes yeah flirting can mean they like you, but it just seems a lot of girls like to flirt then hurt guys these days.
 
If a girl is flirting with you, first of all.. check and make sure you still have your wallet.. if you do, that's a good sign

A girl either likes you or wants something from you.. which is shady
 
Nope. It merely means she is interested in your company.

Why she is interested, is up to you to determine. Dont be surprised if its because of something superficial.

A girl likes you when she's so shy she wont talk to you.

It depends on the girl. Some girls flirt with any guy near them, and others only flirt when they genuinely like a guy.

To the first no. Some girls are naturally flirty.
To the second, I'd have to say no. People call everyone 'hon', 'sugar', 'sugar babe', etc. around where I live.
 
To be honest, I am kind of mean to the guys I like and I flirt with guys I do not like so much. That is because with the guy I like, I am so nervous around him I don't know how to positively release that or whatever and it is a defense mechanism. That's just me, though.

Not sure to what extent "flirting" gets out of line ... but sometimes all I'm trying to be is nice .... and that is misunderstood as "flirting" by some men !

It depends on the girl. But it's not likely. Especially if she always calls you that and you two are friends. I wouldn't feel comfy calling people those names though... :o
 
1: 98.4% of the time, if a girl flirts with you, it's because she wants something. And it's not a relationship with you.

2: A lot of girls call people by "cutesy names" like that simply because it puts people in a good mood. They don't mean it in a flirtatious way at all, they just know that for some reason, it makes them get their way a lot. Because people THINK they're flirting with them. When, in fact, it's just easier than remembering names. She probably doesn't even know who you are.

3: girls like it when you make this face: :crazy

Try it. She can't think any less of you anyway.
 
Men in society are supposed to be the type to be aggressive in starting the relationship. We are supposed to be the ones traditionally to start up a conversation or ask a gal out.

Women think by flirting, we will somehow get the picture that they want us to ask them out...assuming they are not the type that just flirts to flirt.

Women don't understand that such thinking is dated and this is why they are still single. It is not that they have any real flaws. It is just that they expect us men to do all the work in starting a relationship...the thing is us men are also scared of getting rejected so we won't take the leap until there was little other choice.

If a woman likes a guy, she should not try to hide her feelings (reasonably, don't be creepy about it and scare us away) and just ask us out. If neither is willing to take the leap, then nothing happens.
 
If she's flirting, then of course it means she likes you. The problems here arise when men mistake friendliness for flirting, though.
