I'm more concerned about the creeping. It just seems lately there is always something bringing in "Jewish thought" or "Jewish opinion". As a group they have been void of prophets and the Holy Spirit for over 2000 years. Jesus had a great deal to say about the broken Jewish system. Was it somehow fixed without the Spirit? The Judaisers were spoken of with contempt, not as something to emulate. And especially for today, why would anyone who follows Christ even be remotely concerned with what a rabbi has to say who doesn't follow Christ?

I find it odd that a religion that claims to be the Israelite religion is named after one tribe. I was into Messianic Judaism/Hebrew Roots a few years ago until I saw them following the Talmudic teachings and claiming that Christians would be doing sacrifices today if the temple weren't destroyed. The noses started to look extra large on these teachers. We're funding the people that call us "the beasts of the field" made by God to serve the modern so-called jew. And use adult entertainment as a weapon defile the gentile.

Of course they didn't get from scripture. They got it from the Talmud, and it is actually taught by rabbis. They won't even use a plus sign in math because it looks like a Christian cross. They can get a shekel stuck up their nose and choke for all I care.

The Talmud is not going to be understood by reading it as though it were normal literature. Even Rabbis, with a lifetime dedication of learning, consult with others more learned before deciding how to understand it's points on a given topic. Then, there is much room for dissenting opinion.

I personally read much Jewish commentary sifting and sorting as I would any commentary. They have much truth to share and many of them affirm Jesus our Savior. It's right there, but some do not see it.

The Talmud is not going to be understood by reading it as though it were normal literature. Even Rabbis, with a lifetime dedication of learning, consult with others more learned before deciding how to understand it's points on a given topic. Then, there is much room for dissenting opinion.

The Talmud is really nothing more than commentary and story. In that since, our Christian commentary and stories arent much different in that any particular commentary may not agree with anothers commentary.

that was an unusual group - that is not what messianic jews teach -

there are many non-jewish christian groups that believe strange things too -

there is safety in fellowshipping with as many christians as possible - isolated groups can get into strange things because there is no one to bring a dissenting opinion to balance things out - Proverbs 11:14 - Proverbs 15:22 - Proverbs 24:6

just something to think about my dear friend but - you started this thread because you didn't feel God was answering your prayers

i'm not sure why you would hate an entire group of people but this type of hate will affect your spiritual life

God is love and anyone who does not love does not intimately know God - 1 John 4:8-9

if you say you hate people and love God it is not true - 1 John 4:20

i had a lot of trouble in my life when i was unable to forgive people who had done bad things

please don't make that same mistake - it only blows back on you

what ever sin others are committing God will deal with it - just as He deals with each one of us on our own sin

you won't hurt jews by talking hatefully about jews - but you will hurt yourself by doing this kind of thing

someone told me once that gossiping is like taking poison and hoping the other person will die - but all that happens is you die

i'm sorry if something happened to cause you to hate jews - praying that your heart will be healed of whatever this is so that you and God can have an awesome relationship without any hate for anyone spoiling it

i understand - there is a lot of hate to be found in this world - but the last 3 links you quoted are not jewish sites - they are anti-semitic sites - jewish quarterly is not jewish - it's anti-semites calling their site jewish quarterly

the 1st link you gave in that one post was a jewish site and that one article was hateful

so it looks like there is hate on both sides - and lies - lies against Jesus and lies against jews

i know many jews irl and they do not hate Jesus either

Jonathan Bernis tells of growing up and knowing nothing about Jesus as with 99% of jews - all he knew was to stay away from christians and christian writings - this is where 99% of jews are at

Jesus was Jewish, so were the apostles and first desciples. God loves everyone including the Jewish people. They were His chosen people. We are all brothers and sisters.

I'm beginning to hate God for birthing me into a life of loneliness and depression, and into an environment that had killed me inside. If I have demons I'd rather befriend them since they're close unlike God.

One thing I know. The demons close to you are not there to be friends with you. They want to bring you to hell and do not care one bit about you. They are not there for your sake, they are there just to destroy you.
