Of the Rudyard Kipling tales I was enthralled with Riki Tiki Tavi....
The mongoose that went after the Cobras.

Of course I liked Tarzan too...

But that little mongoose going up against the deadly cobra....I was all about that. It was a great Disney cartoon. Got me all worked up as a child.

My husband told me about Riki Tiki Tavi and then he finally got to show me the cartoon because it was on Tubi. Pretty intense =P

They still have cloth diapers. They are a bit different now a days. You can still do prefolds and pins, but most of them have cute covers, an absorbable insert, and adjustable snaps.

Usually you put the used ones in a wet or dry bucket before washing. Many mom's that use them tend to suggest using a little hose that attached to the toilet tank to rinse off over the toilet before a wash.

Unfortunately, they are a bit too warm for a little baby to wear here. Clothes can be hard to fit (mostly onesies), and they might be too bulky in a car seat.
Eww,flushing with toilet tank water.just might as well use irrigation water ,reuse water thar is treated sewage water, potable yrs but not treated .

A mongoose is immune to cobra poison and they do kill them.

The water in the tank on the back of the toilet is tap water that you get out of your sink. A home water filter would make it better quality, though.

Yes, toilets can get yucky. Although considering the diapers are being rinsed until they go in a soapy wash, I would think the wash would get rid of a great deal of the yuck off.

mold is not something I would take that chance as black mold is hard to kill. bleach wont bother some of them. spores is the concern. if I had that desire a basin would be outside to accomplish that.

Each to their own I guess. I like to use vinegar against molds and I usually use it in my laundry.

Black mold is hard to kill.it's a problem if left to grow and professional must come remove it.

It's that odd love of sewer utilities in me.i was at the sewage plant last week and they ship off the solids for fertilizing or fuel.I need to ask .

Yes, black mold is a deadly problem when left untreated. Although, using a high acid base like vinegar before it becomes black mold or a big problem (as long as you can see it, of course) can help. Other times there is nothing that can be done but rip out all the walls. We have had some bad black mold cases around. Pretty devastating for the families when they must leave their home.
