You are not answering the context of Revelations 17:10. Rome is in power at the time of this writing.

Yes I know, I addressed this in post post twice.

So Rome is the 6th Babylon, not the 4th of iron in Nebuchadnezzar's dream.

Daniel listed 4 kingdoms, who were world governing empires, not Babylons.

Babylon
Persia
Greece
Rome

Rome in the time of Jesus, and Rome at the time of the end when He returns

There are not five kingdoms listed.

  • Whereas you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter’s clay and partly of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; yet the strength of the iron shall be in it, just as you saw the iron mixed with ceramic clay.

The last days kingdom will have the iron [Rome] but mixed with clay, in which it will be divided into 10 "kingdoms" with 10 kings ruling, who give their authority to the beast.

Verse 40 and 41 are describing the 4 kingdom which are divided and rule in two time periods.

The time of Jesus' first appearing, and the last days when Jesus returns.

And the fourth kingdom shall be as strong as iron, inasmuch as iron breaks in pieces and shatters everything; and like iron that crushes, that kingdom will break in pieces and crush all the others. Whereas you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter’s clay and partly of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; yet the strength of the iron shall be in it, just as you saw the iron mixed with ceramic clay. Daniel 2:40-41

There is no "fifth" Kingdom.

Babylon was the head of gold then was replaced by persia, Greece then finally Rome.

These were not other "Babylons".

You are going ing to have answer some of my questions now.

This is not a one sided discussion.

And the woman whom you saw is that great city which reigns over the kings of the earth.” Revelation 17:18

Babylon is a city: Rome

The USA is not a city.

Please explain how you came to the conclusion that the USA is a city?

"Rome" will not rule in the future over the Kings of the earth, Jerusalem will.

The future Antichrist will rule the entire world from Jerusalem, the world will bow to him as God in worship.

Your claim that this will be Rome is false.

Revelation 13:8KJV
And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him
, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

You also disregard Revelation 11:8 where "The Great City" is identified as where Jesus Christ was crucified, "Jerusalem" not Rome as you suggest.

Please stop accusing me of disregarding scripture.

I have not disregarded any scripture.

I'm discussing the context of Revelation 17 and 18 which is about Babylon the mother of harlots, the city that rules over the kings of the earth.

Mystery Babylon.

Here is your scripture:

8 And their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. Revelation 11:8

Can you please point out in this verse that you cited, in which you have claimed that I have disregarded, where the word "Babylon" is mentioned?

I see Sodom and Egypt.

I agree with you that he goes to the temple to proclaim himself as God in Jerusalem.

However, he is called the "prince who is to come".

He is from among the people who destroyed the city and sanctuary.

  • And the people of the prince who is to come, shall destroy the city and the sanctuary.

The Romans destroyed the city and sanctuary.

“And after the sixty-two weeks
Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself;
And the people of the prince who is to come
Shall destroy the city and the sanctuary.
The end of it shall be with a flood,
And till the end of the war desolations are determined.
27 Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week;
But in the middle of the week
He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering.
And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate,
Even until the consummation, which is determined,
Is poured out on the desolate.”
Daniel 9:26-27

No the United States is not any form of "Babylon" as prophesied in Revelation.

In my opinion your conclusion is just as wacked as the past cry of Obama being the Antichrist, that has been silenced since he left office.

I remember when people thought that Bill Clinton was the Antichrist when he was in office.

He is called the king of the North in Daniel.

Read Daniel 11, and let's discuss.

The future "Antichrist" of Daniel will be a "Jew" he will not regard the God of his fathers, the Hebrew God.

Daniel 11:37 below describes the future Antichrist as giving no regard to his father's God, a Hebrew/Jew.

"God of his fathers" is used (8) times in the Holy Bible, and you are looking at all (8) below, all pertaining to the Israel/Hebrew/Jew.

Your claim this "King" represents Rome is 100% false.

Genesis 46:1 below establishes "God of his fathers" belonging specifically to "Israel" Hebrew/Jew.

I pray you can see your very clear error?

Genesis 46:1
And Israel took his journey with all that he had, and came to Beersheba, and offered sacrifices unto the God of his father Isaac.

2 Kings 21:22
And he forsook the Lord God of his fathers, and walked not in the way of the Lord.

2 Chronicles 17:4
But sought to the Lord God of his father, and walked in his commandments, and not after the doings of Israel.

2 Chronicles 21:10
So the Edomites revolted from under the hand of Judah unto this day. The same time also did Libnah revolt from under his hand; because he had forsaken the Lord God of his fathers.

2 Chronicles 28:25
And in every several city of Judah he made high places to burn incense unto other gods, and provoked to anger the Lord God of his fathers.

2 Chronicles 30:19
That prepareth his heart to seek God, the Lord God of his fathers, though he be not cleansed according to the purification of the sanctuary.

2 Chronicles 33:12
And when he was in affliction, he besought the Lord his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers,

Daniel 11:37
Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.

You evade the direct response once again, as you claimed "several times" Jerusalem has not ruled over the Earth's Kings, trying to represent Rome as the ruler and "Great City".

Revelation 13:8 clearly shows that the Antichrist will rule the Kings of the earth from Jerusalem, and Revelation 11:8 clearly show"s Jerusalem is "The Great City" where Jesus Christ was crucified, fulfilling Revelation 17:18 below.

Will you continue to deny and disregard the fact that "The Great City" identified below is Jerusalem, where Jesus Christ was crucified?

Scripture interprets itself, "Great City" identified in the book of Revelation is Jerusalem, where Jesus Christ was crucified.

Why do you proclaim that "Great City" in Revelation 17:18 is Rome, Jesus wasn't crucified in Rome?

Revelation 11:8KJV

The future antichrist has to have some Jewish bloodline in order to be accepted as the “messiah” by the Jews.

Wikipedia: The ten lost tribes

The ten horns are ten kings.

The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. Revelation 17:12

These are the ten kings of the ten regions or kingdom that are represented by the ten toes of iron mixed with clay.

43 As you saw iron mixed with ceramic clay, they will mingle with the seed of men; but they will not adhere to one another, just as iron does not mix with clay. 44 And in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall [n]break in pieces and [o]consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever. Daniel 2:43-44

The little horn refers to a king of a small nation.

Since he is a prince who is to come from the people who destroyed the city and sanctuary, that small country is of that region.

The book of Revelation has identified "Great City" as Jerusalem, as you move to falsely apply Rome to this city below, why?

Revelation 17:18KJV

It is "Mystery Babylon" you disregard this fact of scripture, as chapter 17-18 are revealing the "Mystery"

6 I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And when I saw her, I marveled with great amazement. Revelation 17:6

Can you explain how America is responsible for the blood of the saints and martyrs of Jesus.

Do you understand how many saints the Vatican is responsible for.

In Johns day, Rome was the seat and capital or world government, and the Romans emperors would slaughter untold numbers of Christians for entertainment.

Since then the Vatican has been responsible the murder of millions of saints.

9 “Here is the mind which has wisdom: The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits.

Please read the Foxes book of martyrs for starters.

Then maybe the Scottish Covenanters.

Can you explain how Rome is guilty of the "Prophets" blood?

"Rome Didn't Exist To Be Guilty Of The Prophets Blood"

Revelation 18:24KJV
24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.

Matthew 23:30-37KJV
30 And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.
31 Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.
32 Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers.
33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?
34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:
35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.
36 Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.
37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!
