Mrs. Barbarian suggested that I clean it up. I thought it was cleaned up.

Sawdust is good for the concrete. We're sort of the "odd couple" when it comes to neatness. I get uneasy around an uncluttered desk. She likes things orderly. I'm in bed by 11:00 and up by 6:00 A.M. She has a job where she can show up at 10:30 and leave at 7:00 P.M., which is her preference.

She likes to have a lot of people around. I like a few close people, and daily, I need my alone time to write and think. I love science and math. Her college adviser told her to avoid taking any math courses, if at all possible. She has a well-developed sense of style. I quit trying to buy my own clothes; I've had too many episodes of "you're actually going, dressed like that?" Animals, except baby ones, make her nervous. I love all of them. Except for photography and the fun we had raising kids, we don't have a lot of things in common.

I love her more than life itself, and I think she feels the same about me. We are living proof that opposites attract.

I'm one of those neat & tidy people like your wife, Barbarian ... I don't see a problem at all with your work space. And as long as the sawdust is not a potential fire hazard, and there's an excellent mat to clean your shoes before entering the house, I'd say your man-cave is in good shape. :thumbsup

a snap on stool. collectables but not cheap!

Apparently, Snap-on still makes them. I got mine at Costco. It was very reasonable, considering the quality, which is up to the usual Snap-on standards.

I have about 7000 usd of snap-on tools. they want too much for them so I go to the independent dealers when I have to have something. which lately has been zilch.

I don't wear makeup.I just feel like I don't need it.It is bad for the skin.I do not wear jewelry either. Not because I have an issue with it but because I don't buy it.I love to see it on other women and I do see some really pretty jewelry on women.I live a very simple life.I am not a perfectionist but I like everything in its place.A little dust does not bother me :)
