This story is absolutely insane...
100+ of the rare dolphins left and they want to wreck their habitat?
Who does that?

Ikr? I absolutely love dolphins, they are so beautiful and I just love watching them swim and jump. :) They really are highly intelligent too. Love this movie and song right here! :biggrin

Anyways, welcome to another edition of today's news. :) I don't believe that I have an awful lot to report today, so this shouldn't take me all that long to do.

And there is currently an investigation of what has made more than five hundred people in Tennessee ill while visiting a ziplining destination. (I'm just glad that nothing bad happened to me when I went ziplining over the Colorado Rockies)

https://fox8.com/2018/07/14/more-th...ne-visitors-sick-in-stomach-illness-outbreak/

https://fox8.com/2018/07/14/jaguar-escapes-habitat-at-audubon-zoo-kills-6-animals/

Finally in today's news, police in Georgia couldn't decide whether or not to arrest a woman for speeding so they used a coin toss instead. To be completely one hundred percent honest with you, I'm not sure whether or not to laugh at this or be totally horrified. :lol

https://fox8.com/2018/07/14/video-shows-cops-using-coin-flip-to-decide-whether-to-arrest/

That's all for today's news! Have a wonderful rest of the weekend and stay tuned for more news to come. :yes

Actually...it was just some job place work humor. The police did the job they were supposed to do. The phone app coin flip was just a bit of banter between co-workers. It had no actual bearing on the job they did because the the perpetrator actually won the coin toss but the rules were that because of the charges she had to be arrested anyway.

Which is kinda sad.
I wouldn't want their jobs if this is how they get treated.

Yeah you're right. You do have a point there. Now I feel really ashamed of myself for thinking that it was funny at first. :shame

Purpoise point ,a point of land shaped like a purpoise.these are seen there often and dolphins on the beach and the river

They should have recorded the speed, and also filmed the incident itself, including weather conditions. How is a jury or judge supposed to decide if she was going too fast for conditions without information? Interesting that the charges were dismissed by their supervisors.

I wouldn't feel comfortable riding a motorcycle in a crowded city. Give me a 5 star safety rated SUV.

I don't think enough is being done to keep the food supply safe. Too many people are getting sick. Not enough timely treatment when they do get sick.

You have a wonderful weekend too.

Just a quick annoucement, due to schedule conflict the news won't be posted until later tonight. Sorry about that. :neutral

Alright, sorry about that, anyway here's your nightly news tonight. :) Sorry, I wasn't feeling well earlier today and then I went to the pool to have my Aqua Zumba class and swim, but then it started pouring rain without any given warning. :lol Lol, anyways, I still got quite a bit to do tonight so on with today's report!

I like the chime reminding parents that their child is still seat belted in the car. Good idea.

Safety locks on washing machines are a good idea if children are in the house.

Fortunately the creek was drinkable. Most people can last a week without food, but you need to drink moisture.

Go Indians.

I hope you feel better. Have a wonderful day.

Thanks, and I like the latest technology in trying to prevent deaths, and I think that it's a really good idea, but the real sad part is that it shouldn't even be necessary. You would think that parents would be smart enough to remember that their child is in the backseat on their own without any reminders.

Does the news ever run out of news.

Surprisingly maybe. So far I haven't seen any stories worth reporting today so I might just go ahead and take the day off. If so have a wonderful day everybody and God bless! :wave2

Actually there's a few interesting stories that I found that I will be posting shortly, but since it's only a few it's still basically like a day off.

So anyways, welcome to a mini edition of today's news. :) Like I stated before, today's report will be extremely brief but here it is anyways. Funny that the ghost town sold on Friday the 13th.

It was nice of that man to give a car to the needy person.

Its fortunate that those criminals are off the street now.

May the Lord bless you also, and have a wonderful day.
