God is omnipresent. The reality is that none of us has ever been alone since, well, ever.

I thought God had left me, but it was I who turned away from Him...He never left! A sobering thought.

That's a loaded question.
Why do I love my wife so deeply? What did I do to deserve her heart?
Why do I get such satisfaction out of watching my children grow?
Why does the air feel so good in my lungs when I'm riding my bike fast, and I can feel my heart pumping blood through my body.
Why do people care for me?
Why does spring smell so good, and everything feels so alive?

This world isnt as bad as some would have us believe. Most people are good, kind people.

Very poetic... Though not addressing the question.
 
But what I was really getting at is there are people that are supposed to be God's omnipresent but they choose not to.
 
No one other than God can be omnipresent, but as a servant of God we need to be taking this Gospel out into all the world and be that witness and testify of Christ to others that they may turn back to God's grace.

2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
