Many Christians believe it is wrong for Christians to celebrate Halloween. But should we go around smashing peoples carved pumpkins?

Destroying a person's property out of spite, is still hurting a person, therefore sinful.
Considering Halloween used to be the eve of all Saints day, I don't see what the big deal is.
Sure it shares the same day as Samhain, but both Easter and Christmas also share the same days as pagan holidays.
I really wish some Christians would look into their own history from the last 2,000 years.
