I think it's true that a Christian can fall from grace because Paul says we can fall from grace:If this is true, how can a Christian fall from "Grace"? What is "Grace"?
Hmmm.......cross posting.Gal 5:4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
Good, I thought maybe you had put me on ignore.Hmmm.......cross posting.
Did I just feel the wind blowing?Good, I thought maybe you had put me on ignore.
My vision is getting worse and worse (I need a new eye glass prescription). No one puts you on ignore, deb. You're one of the most mild-mannered and civil people I know.
Which illustrates how we take the plain words of Paul and filter them through a predetermined indoctrination. The answer depends on whether you're Calvinist or Arminian in your beliefs.

I saw this: "You're one of the most mild-mannered and evil people I know."
Thanks Mike, I don't always feel civil. sigh, big breath, "Thank you,Lord."No one puts you on ignore, deb. You're one of the most mild-mannered and civil people I know.

May I ask what happens when someone has fallen from grace?
In the very same verse: "You have been severed from Christ..."May I ask what happens when someone has fallen from grace?
The Gospel of Christ no longer reaches your life. In other words you are disconnected from the Cross of Christ.May I ask what happens when someone has fallen from grace?
In the very same verse: "You have been severed from Christ..."
You become separated from the grace of Christ in justification. That's what the Galatians did. Paul exhorts them to come back to reliance on faith in the cross for justification.I'm not Calvinist or Arminian in my belief, and I'm not saying it isn't possible to fall from grace, .......I'm asking what happens when someone does fall from grace.
The point of which is they have chosen a different way than faith in Christ to be justified. That choice has made the justification they had in Christ of no effect now....Paul is clearly addressing those that want to become circumcised and follow the Law.
