    Hello all,
In christianity, Jesus said that there will be Comforter to come after his ascension. And he already said that he will do some works. But, I currently read a book which assummed Muhammad as the Comforter. The author gave me strong explanations that Muhammad is the Comforter.
What do you think about that?
Can you give me more explanations about the Comforter

I will give you the book link as a proof that I have read the book :

    Hello calvin here,
welcome to our forum. Please consider posting some indroductory things about yourself in the new members board.

    John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
Muhammad does not do this, he is dead.
The thing is, "another Comforter" tells that there has been a previous Comforter, namely Jesus. The idea that Muhammad can be thought of as a replacement Jesus (Messiah) is totally repugnant.

John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
Muhammad is not the Holy Spirit. Muhammad is dead.

John 15:26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
Did Muhammad testify of Jesus? No he did not.
Is Muhammad the spirit of truth? No he is dead.

John 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
Muhammad is dead. How can it be said of him that he is sent to us (present tense)?
The inescapable truth of the matter is that the Holy Spirit is the comforter and He came at Pentecost. Now note well that it is said of the comforter that He will remind the disciples of all that He (Jesus) said to them cf John 12:26.
How else could the gospels have been written with such certainty long after the events that are recorded. (and long before the birth and death of Muhammad). I know for sure that I could not recall conversations that took place forty or fifty years ago.
The comforter is the Holy Spirit and He is alive.
Muhammad is not the comforter or the Holy Spirit and muhammad is dead.

Muhammad was the A-Comforter aka A-Christ, remember with Allah everything has a A in front of it because those who act like the A-Word always want to be first, number 1.

The comforter is the presence of the Holy Spirit in us.

Does this sound like a comforter God would give us........................NO!!!

    Mohammed's rise to prophet hood

Mohammad Ibn Abdallah was born in the year 570 AD to the Quraysh Tribe in the city of Mecca. His father died before he was born and his mother Amina died when he was 6 years old (Mohammed claimed descent from Ishmael's son Kedar). At the age of 25, Mohammed married a 40 year-old wealthy, widow named Khadijah who owned trading caravans. Traveling as a representative of Khadija's various business interests, Mohammed was exposed to many Jews and Christians and became enthralled by their theology, particularly their concept of a single deity. It was at this time he began to envision a single, united Arab state under a single 'god.'

Secular history records that in 610, by which time Mohammed had become the leader of his tribe, he was in a cave meditating and seeking to discover which of the jinni was indeed most powerful and worthy to become the tribal jinni of his family.

    Jihad
As new Islamic recruits began arriving in Mecca, they were without money and resources and realizing this, Mohammed and his recruits began raiding neighboring tribal settlements and passing caravans using the booty to fund his vision of a united, Islamist empire. Caravan raiding was a practice widely practiced by Arab tribes and was used as a means to maintain a balance in power. This is where the Muslim doctrine of 'Jihad' was first instituted.

This is what the link says about the book:
The general belief of the Christians is that they believe the Comforter as Holy Spirit. But, we never find clear evidences that Holy Spirit has done what Jesus said about the Comforter. We never get the supporting evidence and complete explanations that could show the existence of Holy Spirit in performing the promised works of the Comforter.
For example, Jesus promised that the Comforter will reprove the world concerning sin, righteousness, and judgment. He used the term "world" is to mention that the Comforter will reprove the people of the world. The "world" means the people of the world, or great population of the world, or many and large in sense. He will reprove and correct the understanding of great population of the world. He will reprove the established beliefs. So, it is very clear that the Comforter didn't only come to some or single community, but he came to reprove the established beliefs believed by many people, the world.
What is the evidence that Holy Spirit has reproved the established beliefs (sin, righteousness, and judgment) of the people of the world? In What book, Gospel, Epistle, or narrations of your religion that said Holy Spirit had reproved the established beliefs of the great population of the world? Is there any evidence and proof that can bring us to the points already mentioned by Jesus?.
In this book, you will get the evidences that Muhammad is the true Comforter as said by Jesus. Muhammad had fulfilled all promised works of the Comforter even though he himself never read the Gospel because he was illiterate.
In this book, you will also see other prophecies about Muhammad in Bible. With the available commentary, you will get to understand that Muhammad was really prophesied by the Prophets. There are about twelve prophecies in this book, mostly Isaiah, which will show you about the existence of Muhammad in the Bible.

I think whoever wrote that book is either a crackpot or an apologist for Islam.
I think Muhammad was a false prophet of a devil (quite possibly The Devil) which identified itself as "Allah."
Worship of the devil "Allah" is done by murdering, raping, pillaging, burning, torturing, enslaving and carrying out similar despicable acts toward "infidels." It apparently delights in human sacrifices during which the one offering the human sacrifice to the demon "Allah" cuts off the head of a person while shouting "Allah is greatest" accompanied by a chorus of his fellow worshipers.

hmm animal sacrifice are now exposed for what they really are in the Light of Christ!
Muslims engaged in the Hajj (pilgrimage) are obliged to sacrifice a lamb or a goat or join others in sacrificing a cow or a camel during the celebration of the Eid al-Adha.

Even the pagans were telling mohamud the stories he believed were nothing but a collection of fairytales. They knew many of mohamuds beliefs were based on myths and legends. Mohamud just took the stories that were popular in his life time and gave them an islamic twist.

    Surah 6:25
Even when they come to you arguing with you, those who disbelieve say, "This is not but legends of the former peoples."

I have no doubt Mohamud genuinely believed he was a Prophet, but his revelations were influenced by his own desires as there in undoubtable proof in the quran and hadiths.

    Mohamuds special revelations.

The quran says muslims can only have 4 wives, but it was revealed to Mohamud he could have as many wives as he wants.

He found his adopted sons wife attractive then recieved revelation it was ok to marry adopted sons wifes. Yes he ended up marring her.

Mohamud was caught by one of his wives sleeping with a slave girl, he swore on oath he wouldn't do it again, then he done it again, then come a revelation from allah to Mohamud to justify his behaviour.

Mohamud wanted to divorce one of his wives as she was getting old and fat and unattractive, fearing she would be cast out on her own, and knowing Mohamuds favourite, she told Mohamud that he could use her time to spend with his favourite wife if he stays with her and not divorce her, that gave Mohamud double time with little Aisha, he agreed and then come the revelation from allah that a wife can give up her rights for another wife.

If Islam believes the new testament writtings are corrupted then how can Islam use the new testament writtings to try claim Mohamud is the comforter?.

If the gospel is corrupt why use the corrupt gospel to prove mohamud is the comforter, from the corrupt gospel and use it as a trustworthy source.

I never knew something corrupt could be such a reliable source.

    Proof???
Have you been hiding in a cave without any means of communication for the last couple of years and are totally unaware of what Muslims have been doing to "infidels" in Syria, Iraq, Egypt, Libya, and Europe?
Or are you just trolling for an argument?
    Sorry, not interested.

As far as I understood Allah was just the Arabic for God ie. the God of Abraham, Ishmael, from whom they claim descendancy for Muhammad.
I am aware of the sub human behaviour of certain of the Muslims and deplore it as much as you do; just have never heard before of Allah being referred to as a demon.
How many 'infidels' have been slaughtered in the name of Christ by certain of the 'Christian Church'?
Jim Parker if you think of Allah as a demon then so be it, I thought you might have had something more concrete than just personal opinion back of it.(to which opinion you are entitled of course)
And no, I am not trolling for an argument with you or anyone else.

allah does mean god, and there are many god's, there are also god's made of stone and gold that do not hear or speak.

There is undeniable proof in the quran and hadiths that mohamuds revelations were influenced by his own desires. His god was influenced by his own mind and world view.

I'm sorry Calvin but what an ancient people did does not justify a present day evil. And if you will study it the Barbary Coast Pirates were Muslim and of the Islamic faith. The U.S. has been under attack from Radical Islam since President Andy Jackson. The god of of Islam is not God the Creator. The Christian Allah of the Coptic Christian is not at all like the Allah of Islam. The of Islam is a mixture of God with the ancient god of the Sun.

There was never a time, beginning with the sand-pirate turned prophet Mohammad, when Islam was not spread by the edge of the sword. Islam was spread by force of arms and slaughtering infidels in the 7th century just as it is today in the 21st.
Nothing has changed. The pagan god that the Arabs called "Allah" is the same yesterday, today, and forever: probably Satan himself.

The sacraments of Islam are murder, rape, pillage, arson, making sex slaves out of young girls and generally committing mayhem as they have always been since Mohammad conquered Mecca and forced his worship, under penalty of death by beheading, on the Arabian version of Baal upon the conquered populace.
