Remember that religion is one of Satan’s hidden dynasties. He loves to plant false doctrines, which twist Scripture, in Christian churches.

If you believe the rapture, you may find yourself among the following group of deceived Christians when Christ returns.

And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb. Revelation 6:16

The above folks are so ashamed because they’ve been worshiping the wrong Christ (anti-Christ .= “instead of Christ” in the Greek).

It seems that the rapture people have forgotten how to count. The think the 7th trump comes before 6th ... that the real Christ comes before the false one comes. Christ returns at the 7th trump, not the 6th trump;

At the 6th seal, 6th trump, 6th vial (666), Michael will boot Satan, playing his role as the anti-Christ (instead of Christ in the Greek), from heaven to earth (Revelation 12:6-9). Keep in mind that Revelation is a Prophetic book making the word SAW into the futuristic word "will" fall, and so on.

Christ also gave you all 7 seals and trumps in Mark 13, Luke 21, and Matthew 24. Have you read them with understanding?

Before 1830 you can find no mention of the Rapture Doctrine. That alone ought to send up a red flag. In fact, the word "rapture" is not in the Bible. So, where did this false doctrine come from? In 1830 Margaret MacDonald had an evil revelation on her sick bed, supposedly from God, in which she was shown what would become "The Rapture Of The Church", among other names.

And, from The Incredible Cover-up by Dave Macpherson, Appendix A, you'll read:

"I felt this needed to be revealed, and that there was great darkness and error about it; but suddenly what it was burst upon me with a glorious light." - Margaret MacDonald (Spring of 1830)

MacDonald's revelation would have probably died with her; however, two preachers grabbed it, cleaned it up, and presented it to Christendom. Today, you'll hear many pastors promoting that false doctrine from pulpits.

P.S. The rapture folks usually turn to 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18 in an effort to document that false doctrine. However, you must back up to 1 Thessalonians 4:13 and pick up the subject, which is where are the dead.

The following verses document where are the dead.

Ecclesiastes 12:6-7
6 Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern.
7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

2 Corinthians 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

Even in Paul’s time, there was much misunderstanding about 1 Thessalonians 4, so he wrote 2 Thessalonians 2 in an effort to correct that misunderstanding, which still exists among many Christians today.

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Brother,
Be careful what you preach and whose Mantle you wear. I have, long ago grown weary of this silly line of pursuit but you need to dig deeper into this matter. When the LORD returns and is seen next, it will be Him on a cloud. I love your fire but make sure it burns correctly be trimming the wick and keeping it trimmed so as not to darken the lens.

Yes, I know the Gospel Amour now has a jet-pack, so that you can flyaway, instead of stand against the false one.

If you mean the pre-trib Rapture is false doctrine then I agree.

However, the rapture, catching away of the Church, after the tribulation is a not a false doctrine.

The rapture takes place just after the resurrection, whereby the Raptured ones will be caught up together with the resurrected ones.

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
1 Thessalonians 4:17

Be blessed.

You might want to check the attitude at the door. When I was first saved I believed I knew everything until I had spent enough hours with God to know better.

Talk about attitudes. Pot, meet kettle.

Why come on and lighten up, have a sense of humor. But I guess if he joke is on you, then it ain't so funny after all; and so you will be reminded to check the attitude at the door.

HalleluYAH, I thought the Gospel Armour jet-pack was hilarious.

Ezekiel 13:17-22
Likewise, thou son of man, set thy face against the daughters of thy people, which prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy thou against them, And say, Thus saith the Lord God; Woe to the women that sew pillows to all armholes, and make kerchiefs upon the head of every stature to hunt souls! Will ye hunt the souls of my people, and will ye save the souls alive that come unto you? And will ye pollute me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to my people that hear your lies? Wherefore thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against your pillows, wherewith ye there hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms, and will let the souls go, even the souls that ye hunt to make them fly. Your kerchiefs also will I tear, and deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall be no more in your hand to be hunted; and ye shall know that I am the Lord. Because with lies ye have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, by promising him life.

Are the two main flavors of rapture doctrine both errant? Yes; but that doesn't mean that the deception they promote is enough to keep Christians from their promised personal salvation. The real damage is the attitude of discord they promote amongst Christians who fervently believe their own chosen favorite flavor must be correct.

It seems some stupid folk mistake the trump of God for the 7th Angel who sounds off, and count trumpets with no scriptural backing to count trumpets, because Scripture counted the Angels not the trumpets, and it seems some are so clueless as to not know what both doctrines are or even what to bring up to defend them.

I don't call it discord, I call it bring on the scripture cannons, which I am very good at. right?

There is a Rapture, your correct, but your timing is off again, despite all my efforts and posting to you in threads. You won't be here, you need to get over it, and accept the fact you have to miss out on all the Chaos.

You might want to check the attitude at the door. When I was first saved I believed I knew everything until I had spent enough hours with God to know better.

Ya, that pride and attitude reeks off him, not even knowing His doctrine will be ripped to shreds by some here who are masters at defending both doctrines.

People will prophesy and dream dreams. But don't believe them. Wait for Jesus. Sorry Halleluyah, this is both a statement of agreement and disagreement. Too many philosophies, theories and modern prophesy, and modern international of scripture. Including both those that say yes there's a rapture, no there's not, and to each many versions of what is suppose to happen. I have to say I have to reject your view, and the alternative view of the rapture and just wait. Sorry.

Christianity, even among Christians, has always been controversial, and it will remain so until Christ returns. They nailed Christ to the cross, beheaded John, fed Christians to the lions, and so on.

Nothing new under the sun.

I do not believe the pre-trig rapture doctrine. I believe that it has made christians weak. They are not doing anything only waiting for the return of the Lord so they can get out before anything really bad happens. I do believe in a rapture of the church but when it will happen I am not quite sure. What difference does it make when it happens. If we are doing the Lord's work, whenever it happens is good.

I think the rapture doctrine does serve a purpose.
It keeps people thinking about being with God, to keep on focusing on God.
So it doesn't matter when it happens.
We are to be ready at all times, and if the rapture doctrine helps people to do that, then so be it.

Yep! You hit a Chopper "home run" there dear Sister. Your statement, "If we are doing the Lord's work, whenever it happens is good." That is soooooo true. To love the Lord with all of our heart, mind, strength & soul is to be busy living for Jesus on our jobs when we're having a bad day, in the parking lot when someone grabs the parking spot we wanted, or hundreds of other situations that is way to easy to "blow it".

The Rapture can not be separated from the Resurrection, as this is one event that takes place when the Lord comes.

Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.
1 Thessalonians 4:17-18

Those on earth will be joined with those who return with Him from heaven.

All the Lord's people will be together with Him, in the air as He returns to Jerusalem.

This is the Day of the Lord.
1 Thessalonians 5:1

We all are looking forward to His appearing and being united with our loved ones.

On this I hope we all can agree.

It will be a Day of rejoicing, when we all have new sinless bodies, at the resurrection and rapture.

God bless you all, as we look forward to that great Day.

Being ready to meet our maker.
Being focused on our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ helps us to be ready.
You didn't know that?

I was never ready, and yet I have received His Spirit. So I just wanted to know how you make yourself ready? Many would begin attending to a works doctrine, trying to prove that they are ready, waiting for his return. But in trying to make themselves ready, they miss the fact He is already with them.

There are two main views. Post Trib (Jesus comes after the Tribulation) and (Pre-Trib) Jesus comes to take his church before the tribulation.

Both views cover all there is to cover, and both agree, except on the timing event of when Jesus returns. In Pre-Trib view, Jesus comes twice. Once for the church, once to judge. Post Trib the same view, but Jesus comes to judge only, believers don't leave, but those in Heaven Join.

There are other views, but the other views are so full of scriptural holes, they don't hold water, like preterism for example.

So, since post and pre trib are the two major view's, switching from one to the other only rest on a few scriptures, the rest of the scriptures don't really matter, like the timing of the tares and Wheat, or the resurrection event. You will find novices use those not knowing how easy they are to dismiss, such as counting trumpets.

The pre-trib futurism preterism doctrines came out of the counter reformation to throw Christians off the scent..
