Be very careful with Num. 23:19. The whole point of it is that God does not lie like men do. I hope that is what you're trying to say. What it most certainly cannot be used for is proof that Jesus is not God. So I hope that is not what you're trying to say.

so when the Most High wants to emphasize He does not lie, He does that with a false statement ,He is not a man?
wow!

it shows that the preferred title that Jesus chose for Himself was son of man.
Which doesn't matter.

so the Almighty creates Angels, in the heavens and they are sons of man? sorry but that makes little sense at all.
What? What are you going on about? If someone said that angels are "sons of man," then of course that makes little sense. It sure wasn't I that said it.

i think what Jesus prefers and puts emphasis on matters a great deal but we can disagree no worries

then why in the world would you need to look up a scripture to tell you that angels are sons of the Most High and not sons of man? you are the champ at taking a discussion 100 miles into left field.

Now you're twisting things. If you want to go that route, then actually consider when God said this--prior to the Incarnation. So, no, there was no lie. But the whole point stands as I have stated.

All that matters in this rather needless discussion, is that he is both the Son of God and the Son of man.

You simply cannot be serious....You were the one who first stated: "angels are sons of the Most High." Found here: http://christianforums.net/Fellowsh...is-jesus-really-god.71927/page-3#post-1390434

I simply asked you to provide verses that state that because I couldn't find any.

its not twisting anything, your over complicating something simple. the Father does not lie, what example does He give to show he does not lie, He is not a man. the example in question is either true or it isnt.
its like saying as sure as a drive a ford truck . . . when you drive a ford truck.

You really need to reread what I wrote and try to understand what I was saying.

i agree

this can get complicated as i believe there is a difference between sons of the Most High and angels. IMO all angels are sons of the Most High but not all sons of the Most High are angels.

I don’t disagree. But as I stated previously, language used of Jesus takes on a new meaning, or at least a more significant meaning. When Jesus is referred to as the Son of God, it is always made clear that it means something different than when anyone else is referred to as such. The NT makes this quite clear.

but its not a numbers game, if the Most High says it once, once is enough. He says it three times actually.
Get over it. This is another discussion—in which I was addressing someone else—that is pointless and irrelevant.

They were expecting the Mashiyach, the Messiah. The anointed. Jesus was 100% God and 100% human male.
Isaiah tells us they would be expecting what you call , a godman.

something does not add up with this. if everyone assumed the Christ would be a godman there would be no need to spell out doctrines such as the deity of Jesus and the trinity. these were also doctrines that Jews would never accept because it went against their belief, yet when Jesus was teaching He had crowds of Jews following Him everywhere we went.

He refers to Himself four times as Son of the Most High and more than seventy times as Son of man. if numbers didnt matter the numbers would have been much more evenly split, thats just common sense.

again im gonna have to go with common sense, if the Most High didnt create angels then who created them
Our common sense ix not God's, (Isa 55:8)

Jesus is fully God and fully man. God the Father is not Jesus so to say God is not Jesus is correct. The Holy Spirit is God too. But the HS isn't the Father nor is He the Son. But they (all three) are one God. They defy mathematical sensibilities.

Jesus is God.
Only those who are called, literally, who come to faith see this.
It is what Jesus said to Peter. He could only know Jesus is the Christ because the Father revealed it to him.
Again Peter declares only because you know Jesus, God, can you say He came in the flesh, died and rose
again.

Those who deny this reality do not know God.
Why? Because the whole central core of salvation is the relationship with God through faith.
The reason why the new covenant is so unusual and replaces or fulfills the old because when we know God,
know the Kingdom, know God as a man, walking with us as a brother, then the true essence of everything comes
to light.

I have had people call me evil, satanic, for declaring this obvious reality from people who have come to faith, but
claim to be filled with the spirit and speaking the Lords words.

A mark of a believer is the knowledge of what love is and how God expresses it in everything He does.

I have been surprised at how some "christians" are being led by their feelings and belonging to a group rather
than knowing what is good, upright, holy and true.

A prophet in the old testament was sent with a message, and told not to stop with anyone. He gave the message
and another prophet lied to him, saying God had changed His mind, and so he ate, was judged and killed by a lion.

God does not change. His word is eternal and true. If one claims to know God and have real experiences in
Christ, convictions can still be wrong, and error creep in unless we are careful and check our feelings and convictions
against His word and the love He placed in our hearts.

Jesus is God but God is not Jesus.
I would disagree......
