Satan is the King of all Kings of hypocricy.
"All too well you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your tradition" (Mark 7:9)

2 Timothy 4:2–4.
Satan is the conman of all con men. The con_demon, if you will. And he too has his disciples that seek to deceive. Because their master, Satan, as we're told in scripture, roams this earth like a hungry lion seeking souls he can devour. 1 Peter 5:8

Funny a humanist calls that cross religious when the guy who had the island dredged, was on the memorial set up team said the cross is to symbolize our war dead in Normandy and elsewhere as its the universal symbol of a military grave.yet Mr humanist has waited until now (been here since 94,the memorial since 63) .all because of another saying something.

I have a thread on this.

Isn't it telling when a humanist who's suppose to be aware of humanist philosophy is opposed to Christian humans religious rights?
People that don't believe in God spend an awful lot of of their personal life time opposing something their personal philosophy declares isn't real.
And then amid all that example of absurd, they claim they're motivated and right because they're rationalists. :lol

Christmas decorations ,ie the tree, a candle or two ,the nut cracker ,those are ok to display. Yet the yule ,the tree is all part of a religion,as Christmas is a backdrop for the nutcracker.yet no problem either it's all religious artifacts or none.i guess they like the non religious gift giving.

Go figure.

I don't have a problem with being inclusive, I just find "Happy Holidays" intolerably bland and meaningless. What was the Seinfeld holiday...Festivus? Yeah, I'd rather wish people a very, very happy Festivus.
Never was a fan of Seinfeld. If someone wished me a happy Festivus day I'm afraid I'd hearken back to the classic Gunsmoke episodes and deputy Festus Haggen. I love the classics. Wholesome entertainment. Not like what's on today for the most part.

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, Season's Greetings, it doesn't matter.
It's a time of year of great joy as we celebrate Jesus for what he did for us.
So what ever song is playing, whatever people are doing, it's the time of year to tell people about Jesus.
Anyone.
They expect it.

Burl Ives. Love him, he was the best snowman in the children's cartoon, Frosty the Snowman. :) I haven't heard his Christmas music in years. Thank you for posting this. :)
Or maybe you prefer this;

That's perfect! I grabbed my puppy and we danced. "It's nothing new to Christians , we feel it all year round." :thumbsup
Thanks for that. The puppy told me to say that. :wink
