Yes. Same here. I actually feel very uncomfortable around wealthy people, especially these last years. After my mom and "dad" divorced, we had very little to eat. My mom's married priest boyfriend brought us vegetables from his garden......I hated that man. Another story......

Smart kids. Some of those are protesting right now. My 20 year old niece is one of them, a Republican nose-holder who voted for Trump in protest of Hillary. No illegitimate kids, no abortions, and as always a very vibrant Christian. Out protesting Trump's hate after hearing of Bannon at this very moment. Maybe that's why I'm so on edge today. Sorry. I hope we all understand that this isn't some armchair football game. This is very real principalities and powers fighting for the right to control this country. I've never seen them so thoroughly enmeshed within each other in my entire life. So much so you can't see which is which at times for the tangle. Thank God we know who wins in the end. But the middle is sure desperately hard to endure.

No, kids today are not nearly as bigoted as my father's generation was, nor mine. They are much more willing to accept people for who they are instead of by skin pigment, ethnicity or religious choice. Why and how do I believe this? With my eyes and ears. Wake up. I don't know about your area, but the anti-prejudice movement is growing here, not shrinking. Those who don't bother to notice or dismiss it are in for a very large surprise in the future when they run for re-election. Better get ready. When something grows that slowly but steadily, it should never be dismissed by a bunch of old white men bent on keeping their power. Eventually they will be toppled by the very generation they ignored.
I grew up with a deeply bigoted father. My mother grew up respecting people for their character, not assumed by skin color. I remember the first black girl in my school. I was beaten up by older kids for defending her. In grade school. There's the ideal, W, and then there's real society at work. We all want peace--some just for ourselves. However, we all don't always want to extend ourselves beyond our own outlooks to obtain it. Do we, Wondering?
You have a curious choice of words here. They are NOT "causing" the bad behavior. They are "reacting to" the bad behavior of Trump's prejudiced words would be more accurate. How could this be you ask? How could it be that Christians must fight against evil for the Lord to be heard, seen and accepted in love? How could it be that the founders of this country fought for what they believed to be right and true, for the freedoms we enjoy today, like protesting our government's unwillingness to even recognize the message of the protests? Very simple, Wondering. Because freedom isn't free.
What he didn't seem to want to realize is, like Medicare, Obamacare is a STATE's right, not a Federal one now. He will have to keep much more of it than he and his cohorts assumed. Would you believe very few people realize that antibiotics don't work on colds, flu, and viruses? You are right. What works is plenty of rest and fluids. Antibiotics do work on infections like sinus and chest. Not every cold is a sinus infection.
