There's good and bad in the Quran. Take what resonates with the cornerstone (Jesus) and discard the rest. People can worry about the deception of Islam, and it's writings, but Jesus mainly warned that the real deception would come from those claiming to speak in his name, i.e. the many peddlers of a Christianity that is not based on his teachings.
1Jo 2:22 (RSV) Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, he who denies the Father and the Son.
1Jo 4:2-3 (RSV) By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit which confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit, which does not confess Jesus, is not of God. This is the spirit of antichrist, of which you heard that it was coming, and now it is in the world already.
Islam is the religion of the antichrist.
The peddlers of false Christianity are equally dangerous to one's salvation.

Luthor, the most hated of the Catholics
((( that's because he was a better Catholic than the pope and was messing with John Tetzl's efforts to raise money by selling salvation .....Shhhhhhhhh! ))))
In 1999, the Vatican and Lutherans signed a formal agreement on the doctrine of justification, the theological issue that was at the root of the separation of the church in the 16th century.
