there is a death of a teen hear from this, and they think jaci should wait till three. she is in no immediate danger. she runs and plays. Are her tonsils blocking her airway at night?
Why won't they remove them?
it scared the doctors to now want to operate. emotional women not making sense. the teen is brain dead from this surgery.http://guardianlv.com/2013/12/brain-death-for-teen-girl-after-botched-tonsillectomy/Heard about that story. It's tragic, but death from such a procedure is so rare and unlikely.
Good to know she's not in danger right now though.
asthma is funny. it can help it or trigger it. her asthma isn't like mine. adenoids also can grow back.Grandpa seems to me the more she runs the deeper she breathes .... so keep running

when I know more I will post.Jaci remains in my prayers.
One never knows what will happen with a surgery; each situation is unique. And unless you, your wife or Jaci's mom have the feeling that Jaci's surgery should happen soon, I would go along with her doctor's plan to wait a year.
same girl. the way my wife and monica were talking I thought it was here.maybe this is more common then thought. Right now there is another case in CA, 13 yr. old girl, brain dead on life support.

im not worried, just letting you all know. im more concerned about her ear infection issues.
the concern is keeping this ball of energy off her feet after the tonsillectomy. they gave her a mask and want to ensure that it worksOh, Jason, that doesn't sound good at all. 300 times???? That's some serious challenge.
I can well understand why the doctors will not even consider operating at this time. If the machine was working properly, and Jaci did indeed stop breathing 300 times, then the risk of major complications - even death - would greatly increase.
Prayers continue.
