Hi everybody!!! Thank you for taking the time to read my introduction. I appreciate it. This first link is to my yahoo photo album, I hope you enjoy looking! I just got married on August 23rd, 2003! I love my wife--she is so sweet and tenderhearted.

This link is not something I am proud of. I have not always been a Christian and did some dumb things in my past, which I am glad that Jesus has saved me from. If you read my testimony and are encouraged, please feel free to send me an email or post it here. It isn't about me, but about Jesus!

Welcome JustJake!
I enjoyed reading your testimony and looking at you pictures.
You and your wife make a beautiful couple.
The only thing I would say about your web site is you have to much personal infor, like you date of birth....ect. I don't think I would put that kind of infor for the world to see and maybe steal. I could just be paranoid. :o

Thank you DRAKE!!!

I appreciate your comments and I have to say that God has surely blessed me since all that bad stuff. I just try to encourage and challenge others that there is a better life out there...and it cannot be acheived by living in sin. We all should strive for holiness and seek to glorify God and His Son Jesus Christ in all we do. Bless you, friend and sibling in Christ!

Welcome.

The pictures were great.

Your testimony is very powerful. Keep up the good work. You can be an inspiration to others.

hehe, welcome to the club and...welcome to the Forums! I have a very not-so-flattering past myself. But thanks to the Grace of God in His Gift (Jesus) to Mankind, I have been freed and forgiven of my faults.

Hi Vicjr! Yes, Jesus is AWESOME! I am so blessed and thankful for His grace.

One of my favorite verses to quote is
Matthew 1:21 (NIV*)
[Mary] will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people FROM their sins.

Yes, we have been set free FROM sin and don't have to me mastered by it anymore. Here are 2 more passages:

John 8:31-32, 34 (NIV*)
If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free...I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave to sin.

Romans 6:22 (NIV*)
But now that you have been set free from sin, and have become slaves to God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.

A former Deacon in our church called it the Nearly Inspired Version. 8) I say former because he was ordained and went on the shepherd his own flock. God bless Wes. (his name)
