From Acts 2
Now there were staying in Jerusalem God-fearing Jews from every nation under heaven

Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call.

Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.

The NT was written for FUTURE GENERATIONS.

yes he was referencing to staying with Judaism
I don't know who Jeffries is but is he familiar with Paul formerly known as Saul?
He made it clear that salvation frees them from the Law. But if a Jewish person still tries to follow the law they we're taught I don't think that means they aren't saved probably just don't understand yet that Christ fulfilled the law.

Well that is a different premise.
You can't be saved by rejecting Jesus no matter what one calls themselves. As the forgiveness of ones own sin is taken away in Christ,(How God chose to forgive sin), And apart from that forgiveness the guilt remains.

Jesus said, "If you were blind, you would not be guilty of sin; but now that you claim you can see, your guilt remains.

Those reject Jesus and that debate the validity of the gospel message claim they can see.

It might be possible in some parts of the world where the ignorance rises to the level of "blind" and Jesus has mercy on them. He alone would know as nothing is hidden from Him and we cant state their saved but we can state Jesus will make a judgment concerning them. As people sometimes ask about those who have never heard of the gospel message.
