Long time no see everyone. Just thought I'd share an article on the fire thrown from Heaven in Rev 8.

“And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel’s hand. And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake. And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.” – Revelation 8:2-5.

In our previous article, “The Seventh Seal of Revelation – The Meaning of Silence In Heaven” we explained the meaning of the silence in Heaven as the seven angels who sound the trumpets of judgment during the Day of The Lord, prepare to sound. But before this take place, the apostle John, in his apocalyptic vision described “another angel” who stands at the Heavenly altar before God’s throne. Who is this angel? And what is the purpose of throwing fires in the censer to Earth? This article will explain that it is Jesus Christ making one final preparation before the supernatural, cataclysmic judgments of the Day of the Lord continue.

The reason there was silence in heaven for about a half hour was God was silent for a short time while the angels were preparing for the seventh seal to be opened. First, seven angels are given their trumpets as each one would be sounded in Gods timing. Then John sees an angel with a golden censer and this angel is given much incense to burn before the altar of God as it sends up a sweet aroma to him. The sweet aroma is all the saints under the altar and all around the world worshipping and praising God’s name as they send up their prayers before Him.

Fire usually represents Gods judgment. The censer that had incense in it and being a sweet aroma sent up to God filled with the prayers of the saints is now filled with fire and cast down to the earth. God is now ready to avenge those prayers of the saints as they wait for their fellowservants that are sealed with the seven spirits resting upon them.

These servants of God will also be persecuted to death during the time of the seven trumpet sounds as they keep the witness and testimony of God and preach to those that yet need to repent. Gods vengeful wrath is about to be released on all the earth as the voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake is Gods great power and authority ready to shake the earth as now is the time of his final wrath before the door of salvation is closed forever.
