Jesus Christ Is Not A Puppy Dog

The very last thing that Jesus Christ says in the bible is that outside of the gates of 'heaven' will be all the dogs.

It is interesting that God himself, in the person of Jesus Christ, lists the characteristics of a 'dog' that will not be allowed in heaven. Revelation 22:15 - Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murders, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.

Many people today characterize God as an animal and view God as some sort of puppy dog who is wagging his tail and eager to lick everyone he sees. If God characterizes those who are left out of heaven as dogs then God wouldn't resemble a dog, hence an animal, in any actual manner or behavior.

Don't pray to Jesus as if he is your personal pet eager to comfort you for no other reason than it is his job as your personal pet dog. Jesus Christ is our lord, Savior, and God almighty. Not our spiritual pet!

Consider that when God finally spoke to Job after all of his calamities, sufferings, and distress, God said, “Brace yourself like a man; I will question you, and you will answer me (Job 38:3). Clearly God did not come to comfort Job like a pet animal but as a God who demands more than feelings for God said in Job 38:2 - “Who is this that darkens my counsel with words without knowledge?” Words without knowledge are feelings derived from words of self-pity – which are words without knowledge.

Also, it is evident that angels will be stationed at the gates of heaven and anyone who finds themselves barred from entry will naturally blame those angels guarding the gates for not allowing any unauthorized entry. Which is why Jesus Christ states in Revelation 22:15 the reason for any exclusion so that no person can blame any angel for being held out of heaven.

Believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and rest assured that those persons who ignore the saving grace offered by their lord and God Jesus Christ will be reduced to the stature of a dog, hence an animal, and will be barred from ever entering heaven.

God Bless

Revelation 22:12-15

“Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.

Blessed are those who wash their robes, they that may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murders, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.
