Compared to the heavenly food and feasts chocolate will probably be like dog food :biggrin2
I don't take that literally,it could be but not likely. if we eat in heaven, uhm where is the septic system? remember that jews majorily rejoice in a very holy form of it when they marry. that feasting is in reference to the joy that a wedding has on the earth to the one we have at his return. to wit we have it sealed when he returns.

This is just "food" for thought,
Revelation 22; 2: NIV
"On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing 12 crops of fruit, yielding it's fruit every month".

Yes,I believe we will eat. After the Church is raptured we will take part in a feast.

note that is on the earth after the vision of new Jerusalem's descent from heaven to the earth.

It all depends on what your eschatology view is.I think we would get pretty hungry in 1,000 years.
Isaiah 25:6;Matthew 8:11;Luke 22:30
again if there is hunger and food. what will die? only veggies? what about human bowel movements? the point you are missing is that river vision with the tree is after the final judgement. I make no distinctions of jews /gentiles being separate after the cross. futurism seems to do that. im a Hebrew. the blood is better then my lineage. yet per futurism it seems to say otherwise with this notion of an future isreali state with Hebrew doing what many messianic jews(majority are goy) already do!

We can not answer questions that the answers are not in the Bible. We will have to wait and see.I am sure no one will be disappointed.

It seems to me that if the crop is yielding fruit every month, then there is time in heaven.
I wonder what Joel would say about that?

uhm? food and hunger? that implies a digestive system. it implies the need to move bowels and no, its not in heaven

Not a lot of people see that. You Sabra?

oh and since we are discussing this from a jewish perspective. and the opposing arugments are basically saying what jews say. and others say what I say.

no. I am of a jewish lineage. funny while you posted that I was talking to a cousin about isreal and what a florida senator said. sad being Hebrew I should know my own darn tounge but I don't.:sad
I don't know much, but a Rabbi friend is always telling me I am like a Sabra...... because it also is the name of a cactus grown over there.. prickly on the outside, but soft and sweet inside.

Jason, why should you know Hebrew anymore than I should know Irish or French? Neither of us grew up where our ancestors and relatives lived/live or in households that spoke those languages. :shrug

Oh yeah.... It's also the name of a cool sports car made over there.

I have read up on the chuppa since I have a pic of my grand parents under the chuppa.View attachment 4671
