I never said I was divorced. I said my situation to give you a perspective.if you want wallow then wallow. I can wallow if I choose to over look how good i have it.

If you think I your old age it's going to be dating and one day your and him dying together you might be mistaken. Trials may come aMD challenge your marriage.

War was that for me,my wife's health is the other. I was 28 ,she 42.love blinds.your fiance will.exit as a felon. When that love wanes abd them eyes see his issues from his time in prison as that will be an issue you will face . Prison isn't nice aND the messee up things he has to see or did to stay safe will be an issue.

The stories from correction officers I hear. It's not a cakewalk. Joey will have to adjust to the world again.I might be familiar with that .

I am not always wallowing but sometimes I do have points where I breakdown. And yes, Joey will have to adjust to the outside world again, I'm already well aware of that. However he already knows darn well that I'll always be there for him and so will the rest of his friends and family and yes I can totally picture us growing old together and dying in one another's arms. Is it really that unbelievable to you that two people really can have such strong and unconditional love for one another? I just don't seem to understand why you have such a problem when it comes to romance,.. well,.. actually I can and I feel for you I really do, but true love is not a fairytale. It really does exist. You just have to know where to look for it in the right places.

You know I shoot from the hip and what I'm about to say I hope you take it in a positive way as it is not meant to hurt you, but strengthen and encourage you.

Life is not fair and God never said we would never face trials an tribulations in our life. I've had my share in the last 63 years and know there will always be more to come. How you deal with it is your own choice whether to remain joyful as God will bring you and Joey through all of this, or you can be miserable and dwell on the problems you have with all of this. Right now Joey needs your strength and encouragement to uplift his spirit and to help him know that this is a trial in both your lives, but in time the two of you will be together again.

Bide your time growing in the knowledge of the Lord and those things you learn write them down and share your studies with Joey as this is an area in your relationship you both need to be doing. I know Joey doesn't want you to wallow in misery and wants you to be happy and you need to do anything you can to ease Joey's time in prison as he has it a lot rougher than you being on the outside. Build each other up in confidence looking forward to the day you both are together again. Help him to be positive and both to keep the joy of the Lord in your hearts like Paul and Silas when they were in prison as God will set Joey free. When he is released your love for each other will be grounded in the Lord as Christ has to be the center of your friendship, relationship and marriage. Stay positive and grounded in your faith until that glorious day the two of you are united again.

Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

You know sister, you are a prime example why I choose to spend my time on this forum more than anywhere else online. As I stated before, I don't believe it was an accident that I found this place. There's absolutely no doubt in my mind that God brought me here for a reason. The amount of prayers, love, and support I've received on here I can't even put into words and hardly anybody on here was quick to judge me and my situation which is why CF has not only become my online home, but my online family as well. Love you guys very much and I can't even thank you enough for what you've done for me as well as my spiritual growth and may the Lord bless each and every one of you. :hug

Oh, and I had another dream about Joe last night so at least that's another way that I won't ever let go of him (yes we have made a lot of Titanic references in the past which is why I chose my current avatar) since I generally dream about whatever's on my heart. :) That's why I also dream a lot about God, Jesus, Heaven, and my grandparents that I still love and miss like crazy although I know in my heart that they're in a much better place now. :halo

Well today's visitation went really rather well. :) This time I was prepared for only two hugs and kisses per (before and after) visit and that we could hold hands the whole entire way through so I was really happy about the whole thing and just to be in his company. We discussed lots of different things (Naruto and cosplay mostly) but I also found out that there is still a slim possibility for an early release and retrial so we still need all the prayers we could get on that. :pray Oh yeah and it also helps that I have things coming up that I'm really looking forward to like the beach next week :shades and our town parade and festival after that. :woot2

Just keep hoping an praying as God can cut through all the red tape, but also has a reason unknown that Joey is still there. Whether it be today or four more years you and Joey are always connected in your hearts and that no one can take away.

BTW, the reason they do not let contact between those who visit is because a lot of contraband comes into the prison that way so it's a safety issue.

I thought people go there to do time, not to have there entire being stripped from them. Compulsary clothes off, squat, caugh. I thought they would at least get there human rights.

And many are privately owned. Can they do that to humans.

US has some things entirely backwards. Jails are privately owned, and schools are public. That's not the very top of the list, but it's way up there.

And stripping all dignity from a convict is "the American way." Then they wonder why there's problems?

ahem, we do the same to muslims and no, I have trained in prison work. only the inmate upon the valid reason of contraband and or initial entry into the facility is he stripped searched. visitors are searched.

a person would never try to give drugs, weapons, etc to the inmate.

Can you explain what you mean?

Can't. Tell. If. Serious?

Lots of inmates wind up with all sorts of contraband. How does this happen?
the visitors attempt to give it to them, if caught they are arrested then at the facilty they go to be charged and held , they will get stripped searched.

one of my old mos was 31 echo. we were military police and we did wartime missions of detainee operations, the methods and means of running a detention center overseas is the exact same as running a prison with a few rules only applicable in combat. a fleeing felon cant be shot by the guard as is the case in country, unless roe is changed there. that's not for this thread.

So are you saying we stripped Muslims of their dignity overseas? Or in the US?
only if we captured them and intel said these were detainable long enough based on possible intel.usually those would be caught in firefight, or wanted based on intel and we went and got them.we being any unit assigned to do such things. the mp mos does to search and capture missions as does the infantry by doctrine.

I hope you get some kind of dramatic resolution to this. It does sound to me like Joey was railroaded into a confession by the police.

Praying for you both! Cast all your cares upon the Lord and see what He does. Sorry to hear of your sorrows.

Thank you both and yes, unfortunately he was pretty much roped into it. :sad
