Does anyone here keep a journal?

I started a few weeks ago as I thought it would help with my anxiety/depression. Writing all my thoughts out and keeping track of answered prayers and fears I had that never amounted to anything. In some ways it has helped, but reading through the pages again just now I mostly sound slightly manic and completely self-absorbed.

Does anyone else do this and do you find it helpful?

I only keep a mental journal as to where I use to be and how Christ brought me to where I am now. Journals are therapeutic as it is good to write out your thoughts and ponder them. That way you see where you are weak and also strong.

I kept a journal for years. Last time I wrote was probably 15 or more years ago.

It's odd going back and reading who I was back then. I'm a deep thinker, and not much has changed there, but it's odd looking back at times to really see how God has been with me this whole time.
