yeah so do I. coffeedancer: it will not be hard if you can love GOD more than any other guy. things will fall into place when you do. =D

personally I think all dating should be done with intent towards marriage. agreed?

PS: what's PDA?? not personal digital assistant right??

PDA: Public Display of Affection. I also agree that all dating should be done with the intent of Marraige. So yes, there are guys who will make the same commitments.

True. If the purpose of a relationship is the fulfillment of one's self, what can one expect to gain from it but a period of temporary happiness?
I think all relationships of all sorts should have God as its purpose. Friends, girlfriends, boyfriends, and family, should all base their relationship with the intent of serving the other to meet there spiritual needs (prayer, fellowship, wisdom, etc...) and glorify the LORD always in the process. Even with boyfriends and girlfriends, you should both know each others commitment to the LORD is most important and the LORD will always guide each relationship in a way that is holy and pleasing to Him.

I agree with GundamZero, the purpose of any relationship (friends or boyfriends ect.) should be for God. And i think that when you date someone marriage should be in mind. As for kissing.... I think that it is fine if you are in a relationship. A dare of any sort should not even be thought about twice. Accepting a dare to kiss somenone is not only disrespecting yourself, but also god. Becuase the purpose of relationships is to praise god and glorify him, kissing someone that you aren't in a relationship with is not doing any of those things.

So we should date a christian gf / bf and get married to a christian woman / man, well for the benefit for ourselves and God...right??

yea..nice story there..brutus =D..i'm 16...never dated...hardly ever talk to girls (especially 1 on 1 ; the thing is I can't stare at the girl's face for long-_-), but I am not worried about my dating life cuz I will know the right girl when I see her...

P.S. wow you guys seem so close and dedicated to GOD.. I am not that close, but I was brought up in a christian elementary and middle school, but now I go to non-christian high school. At least it has a christian fellowship :-D

aof, you don't seem too bad yourself. As for the School part, here's a tip. Emerse yourself in the Bible. I wish I had studied more in HS. Even if you Just read a proverb everyday, you'll be brought a ton closer to God.

I know what it's like, aof. The important thing is to hang on, pray, and read the Word like Brutus said.

It has long been my dream to have my first kiss when my new husband lifts my veil and the minster says you may kiss your bride! :Fade-color :B-fly:

I should have waited for my wedding day. But i think that my first REAL kiss will be then. I never should have made the mistake of throwing away my very first kiss with my ex-boyfriend. Turned out that he was exactly the opposite of what he was telling me he was....jerk. ANYWAY...you should wait, dont listen to what the others say, they arent real cool if they say stuff about you cause you dont want to give your first kiss to someone who isnt meant for you.

I just turned 15 and I haven't had my first kiss yet. I am staying pure for my Wedding day, because then it'll be really special. Why waste something so precious on a guy that your probably gonna dump in 4 -6 months? I've never dated and don't plan to till I'm not so stressed with school and stuff, that way I'll be able to focus on it fully.
