How do any of you view what will happen to you on the Last Day - ? Do you believe that your deeds will be judged? Do you believe that an angel will blow the Trumpet and everything will die? Excluding God All Mighty.
What will happen according to your beliefs???

I'll be dead, so won't care.

Humans will probably get off the planet before it can no longer sustain them, and colonize the universe.
 
I have to agree with saved4life. We will either blow ourselves up (probably in the name of some god) or we will make it off this world and colonize the galaxy.

I am not sure what you mean exactly by "The Last Day". I'm not sure whether you refer to the day of Judgement or not.

I believe that everyone will be judged, as the scriptures teach.

I do not believe that an angel will blow the trumpet and everything will die. What I do believe is that seven angels will blow a trumpet each, and that when the seventh angel finally blows his trumpet then this will be the signal for Christ's return to take over the planet!
1Co 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

Thats quite interesting reading your view...and ofcoarse THE LAST DAY is the DAY OF JUDGEMENT....evanman thanks for replyin... :fadein:

About Jesus:

Jesus(peace be upon him) will descend to Earth....I love that. Jesus (pbuh) will straighten things out :wink:
He will be in Damascus and kill the Dajjal (Anti-Christ) and remain on Earth for seven years and get rid of crosses.


Jesus's return to this Earth (since he is in Heaven now) Allah says is a sign of the coming of the Hour.
"Therefore have no doubt concerning it (Day of Ressurection). And follow Me! This is the Straight Path." 43:61

"(Other) faces that Day will be joyful."

"Glad with their endeavor."

"In a lofty Paradise. Wherein they shall hear neither harmful speech nor falsehood."

"Therein will be a running spring."

'Therein will be Thrones raised high."

The Trumpet will be blown by one Angel Israfeel...until there is no one living except God All Mighty. Then the Trumpet will be blown a second time and thats when we shall be Judged.

"So taste you (the results of your evil/bad actions). No increase shall We give you except torment."

"Verily for the Muttaqun (pious believers) there will be a success (Paradise)...."
"A reward from your Lord, an ample calculated gift (according to best of good deeds)."

"That is the True Day. So whoever wills, let him seek a place with his Lord!"

"Verily We have warned you of a near torment - the Day when man will see that which his hands have sent forth, and the disbeliever will say, ' Woe to me! Would that I were dust!"

What do you believe about the last day?

My first time on this thread. What do you mean by "the last day"? The last day of this age? The last day of the age to come? The last day of the ages? The last Day of the Lord? the last day of God?

In Matt.13:39, 40. 49 the Lord Jesus in explaining the parables of the Wheat and tares; and the mixture of fish caught in a net, and says the angels will gather out the tares and the bad fish to be destroyed, at the full end of the age.

In Matt.24:3 Christ's disciples said, "Tell us when these things shall be? and what (is) the sign of thy presence, and of the full end of the age." YLT.
 
I am going to have to go with the King of the universe on this one. As someone who believes in Jesus Christ I believe in what he said concerning that day.

John 6:39-40
And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

John 6:44
No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

John 6:54
Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

John 11:24
Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.

John 12:48
He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

According to the scriptures there will be a resurrection of both the just and unjust and judgement for those who do not believe on the last day. This will be the day in which Jesus Christ returns with his holy angels and sits on his father's throne. We will all stand before him and he will separate the sheep from the goats. The unrighteous will be cast into eternal fire that was prepared for the devil and his angels. The righteous will be caught up in the air with Jesus Christ and so shall we be forever. amen. maranatha.
 
knowledge vs love

Everyone keeps chasing their tail. Everyone wants to "know the truth" so they might find salvation.
There is only ONE truth! John 14:6
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Throw out everything but Jesus.

As the great evangelist DL Moody wrote in the fly of his bible... "All the old testiment points to Him, All the of the gospels declare Him and the rest of the bible looks for his return."

All else is foolishness. Either you are found in his grace or you are not. If you are not, you have no excuse, because He accepts everyone!!
 
I think of the 'last day' as being the last day of bondage to death--living in corruptible flesh.

The 'last day' is really the 'first day'--the first day of the rest of your life, the everlasting portion of it.

That's the day this corruptible will be raised incorruptible--all of us 'corruptibles.' :angel:
