This is an update related to what I have already posted before, concerning what college degree or course will I take. About my interest on writing, I was now more inclined to just read books and write myself, and will just open myself to choosing other courses. I'm just stuck up of the choices: law(lawyer), nautical(seaman), or computer.

Just as I have said on my prior thread, any course that I will choose, I can serve God. But which of these courses?

I have interest on computers but not that really too much. I use to expose myself on computers before and, I think, that's what boosts my interest on this matter. I am not often exposed to computers now. And I have things that I am more interested, like reading, schooling or talking to people(it's like I've been more mature). I feel taking computer course as more "easy" than really I being "interested"(as we know, computers, are or [can always be] interesting!---that kind of interest). This is the least of the courses on my choices, i.e., law, nautical, computer.

Concerning the course Nautical, I want to be pragmatic here, that it's product/aim is money! But don't get angry, I know one must not be a lover of money in anyway. I wanted to love God rather than money. So I decided to spend that money in a good way,e.g., sharing, doing charity, helping poor people, etc., if ever I will walk on this course. It's kind of a light or not so difficult course for me though not so heavy in name. But I know, it matters not there. Furthermore, I can have more time on writing which I am interested. There is no strong objection from my relatives regarding this choice, more probably because, they don't want me to face financial problems on the future. And it works fine for my interest!

Law appears more professional or heavier than the other choices. I know it's not the proper criterion for choosing a course, though it's unavoidable to think that way, I should avoid it. Some of my family members are in favor of this choice, most probably, for that same reason(of being heavy in name). I'm interested on subjects that concerns logic, reasoning or philosophy--- and I think, this course covers that. I feel this course as the most difficult among my other choices. It's not impossible though. It just takes study, research, hard work, pain and faith in God to do this thing. My ranking in school names me as suitable for this profession, but I feel law is kind of just a relative or practical course. Can a believer of God do in this course and profession well? I expect to meet evils in this course, but I want to fight or avoid it when it comes, making me perhaps, different from common lawyers(in our place) which are blinded by reputation, money or their belief on relativity of life. I feel like going through a rocky road entering this course because of my faith in God and my uncertain ability (if I can really do this). But if can do well, I could consider this as the most profitable course for me in terms of faith. Concerning my interest on writing, I've heard that one way to enhance writing skills is taking law (don't know exactly why).

I hope you understand what I feel thinking at each courses. I ranked law as the hardest among three, next nautical, lastly computer. But I ranked computer as least among I can do manual/great good things, next nautical, lastly law. I hope you can give me suggestions or thought which could give me clear perspective of what course should I choose, or how will I choose it.
