Very nice.

I particularily found the "Sky and Girl" portrait interesting. I am no art critic, but something about that captivated me.

If I sent you my email through pm might I get a larger res version of it :)

Okay, hows this: Its me at Easter"

hee hee hee!
Yes, you look nicer, but, what's that, a grimacing smile?
(just giving you a hard time)
I think my older brother had that same outfit on, during easter of 1966.
Oh LORD! I remember those days. I had to wear a scratchy, stiff crinoline petticoat, and a stupid
hat with a rubber band thingy on it, to hold it on, and some very tight, very shiny white patent leather shoes!

Do you have any more old photos? Very neat.

Oh gosh, Biblereader, you've brought back bad memories of me being stuffed into those horrible dresses and totally uncomfortable shoes. Then, remember not being able to do ANYTHING because you might get mussed? I can't understand why my brother (who also had the same suit the you had CC) was able to play and get messy when wearing the good clothes and I had to sit there and not move a muscle. ARRRGGGHhh!

Hey, speaking of old pictures, did anyone else get a 'pony picture'? Here's mine:

dmar7.jpg

The reason why I look so happy is because I thought the pony was mine. I really did think my folks gave me the pony. In spite of the fact that we lived in a small two bedroom house in the middle of Costa Mesa, California. Hey, we had a back yard, and the pony wasn't all that big...

Maybe that's why I live on a ranch now. Overcompensating for the trauma of not being able to keep the pony.

YES! I remember my mother warning me not to get my clothes dirty, and FOR HEAVENS SAKE, don't get those patent leather shoes scuffed!

Aww! How cute! Your little haircut, with the straight across bangs! You looked so happy!
I had pony rides when I was a kid, too, on my birthday! That must have been "the thing" to do.
I remember the pony clopping slowly around the block, clop, clop, clop.

Oh, NOW I know why you have that grimace! You're wearing those awful saddle oxfords.
Another bad memory!
I remember hating my saddle oxfords SO much, that I sneaked into the closet, and tried to rip the soles off. I'd work on them every day. they finally were ruined.
:-D
Remember the glasses they made us wear?

And what activity scuffed patent leather shoes? Gee, let's see. Walking in them.

Now the cowgirl outfit I got to wear for the pony picture was totally cool! :smt023 But then, I didn't get to keep that either. Poor little kid. :smt009

I KNOW! It was NOT fun, on Easter morning, after we got dressed for church!
Just had to sit there, and not move.
