They all purport to be "the simple truth." The proponents of each flavor believe that they most accurately communicate that truth.
The tares desire obscurity because they don't want to be found, while the wheat desire clarity because they want to be found.

????????? :confused
I'm glad you said "unfortunately you're too late", since it implies that you disapprove of the premise that Christ can be divided against himself.

I see them all blowing their horns trying to fill the pews.

It is not Christ Who is divided by the divisiveness of Christians; it is the kingdom of God which is divided.
And the unsaved are staying home in droves.

Sin and hope of redemption is good business for those who traffic in it.

What's the difference between the body of Christ and the Kingdom of God? Christ is the head and Christ is the King. Looks the same to me. I'd stay home too since fellowship only happens where people can agree.

Religion has always been a good con.
In the pure etymology of the term religion, it is possible for there to be one true religion, but I get your point.
I was making the distinction between the person (individual) Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of God.
Okay, but regardless, don't you believe the head controls the body, and isn't his body also the kingdom?

The kingdom of God is more than the body of Christ (the Church); it is the entire creation which will be renewed at His 2nd coming.

A king is one who has total authority over everything in his kingdom.

Consider Mat 28:19 (RSV) And Jesus came and said to them, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me."
Jesus is king in heaven and earth.

Rom 8:18-21 (RSV) I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God; for the creation was subjected to futility, not of its own will but by the will of him who subjected it in hope; because the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to decay and obtain the glorious liberty of the children of God.

2Pe 3:10-13 (RSV) But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a loud noise, and the elements will be dissolved with fire, and the earth and the works that are upon it will be burned up. Since all these things are thus to be dissolved, what sort of persons ought you to be in lives of holiness and godliness, waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be kindled and dissolved, and the elements will melt with fire! But according to his promise we wait for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.

Rev 11:15 (RSV) Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he shall reign for ever and ever."

I stand corrected. Thank you for this. I hope I retain it.

Thank you for bearing with me as I attempted to make sense.
Your post made perfect sense. But I can appreciate your desire to maintain humility. As I began reading your post, this scripture immediately came to mind.
10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
