We are certainly ever learning. Last Saturday we were riding our four-wheelers (ATV's) and I rolled mine going down a steep hill. Only got some cuts on my right arm and left leg and bruised my pelvis and a rib, but learned a valuable lesson. There were a couple other hills before that and I asked Jesus to help me get down them and had no problem even though they were a little scary. This last hill when I rolled and fell off and I was laying on the ground evaluating myself to make sure I was alright I asked Jesus why He didn't help me like He did with the other hills. Jesus said He was with me the whole time, but my actions were my own decision. How true this is so never blame God for the stupid things you choose to do.

The lesson is that before acting on anything think about what the consequences of our actions will bring forth in our life.

BTW, always wear a helmet when riding as mine saved me from a serious head injury as there is a 2 inch gouge in it plus a lot of scrape marks.

Ouch!
I'm sorry for letting out a small giggle, but have you ever saw the part in Napolean Dynamite where his granny goes riding on her quad lol!
Yup, you own that!

Ohhh boy! So glad your doing well. I'll bet that was a real rush!

I was riding our dirt bike last year with a broken hand brake for the front wheel. I forgot it didnt work and ended up going between 2 trees before jumping off before the bike slammed into another tree. I was limping for weeks after that!

You may enjoy this video lol

That must have been scary. Get better soon for-his-glory. :hug

Thank you Tessa :hug. Actually, it was scarier trying to go down that hill. A group of us got together to clean all the trash people left behind on the trails as many are starting to post their properties and won't let others ride there anymore. They took a picture of all the bags we brought back and posted it on Facebook as a warning to others that just throw out their garbage while being in the woods. It will be awhile until I can ride again. Some deep bruising and pretty stiff and sore. Nothing that won't heal in time.

Ya, it was a rush for sure, but not the first time and hopefully the last. Will make better choices in the future.

Sorry I can't open the video, still in old school with dial up, but appreciate you posting it. :)

Two things;

1. I wish I had a four wheeler (I do believe that's what that was)

2. And that ladies and gentlemen is when men truly discovered that they have the gift of flight. :lol

Thank you sis :hug This to shall pass, but not as quickly as I want it to. Will be a while before I can ride again.

Like me being reunited with Joey, or the day when we all get to leave this sinful world behind us and go home, I'm sure it will be worth the wait though. :) Okay so maybe it won't be quite as good as those two things but you get the idea.
