Are there any cookie handling extensions or plugins installed on firefox?
Tools / Addons
I have problems with Firefox.
Tools / Options then click the security tab
Check that the box to remember passwords is checked
You can also see what passwords are saved by clicking on "Saved passwords"
You may have to login to get a saved password
I'll check. I had to log in this morning.
There are a bunch of plugins. two are active, the rest say. "ask to activate"
the active ones are: OpenH264 Video Codec & Shockwave Flash
Time to bring out the big guns.
I use it to protect the cookies I want to keep.
Once installed go to Tools / CookieCuller
Choose the cookies you want to keep.
I just thought of something....My problem started about a week ago, maybe + or - when someone was working on a new format.
I want to see ...
"My problem ended today ...."
Now this is strange, In the box "remember passwords" it says, "last changed....Jan 9 2015" I did not change it! The password that lets me in is" ##########" but won't keep me in.
""last changed....Jan 9 2015"
Alright, try this at login to see if more than one username is showing for the site.
Logout then click login but don't do anything right away
Now, you should see this.
Then left click in the text box to see the usernames available.
Mine has only one.
IF it shows more than one then move your mouse over one of them to "highlight" it but don't click it. Hit <delete>
Do the same for the rest except the one you're using.
Check "Stay logged in" then login.
Ok Rick, I have installed the culler...There are 3 things to get started, am I supposed to install all three?
Well!!!!!!! for some reason when I logged off, per your instructions, I came right on!
What 3 things?
CORRECTION. When I tried to click on moderator forum, I had to log in.....I don't understand what to do in the "culler" after I installed it there came up a page that gave me three options, Idderall & Copy as plain text & Awesome. Beside that I don't know what to do with culler.
Go to Tools / CookieCuller
Highlight the cookies you want to keep... especially all cookies with "christianforums.net"
click "Protect Cookie"
Ok, thanks, I'll do it.
who's on first?
Ok Rick, I highlighted and clicked "protect" on all of them.
