45 Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

44-45 This woman was pouring her soul out to Jesus and Simon didn’t even show Him the common treatment for a visitor in your home, let alone the one who is Lord. It is easy to tear people down because of who they were or what they did before Christ but we need to be willing to help people find Christ and live that change He brings them thru encouragement and not tearing down.
 
What Mary did was out of humility and love towards Jesus as her devotion to Him came after He cast out seven devils that were in her. Her servitude was to the one who made her whole again and forgave her sins as she followed Jesus and sat at His feet hearing all that He taught.
