[__ Prayer __] mama's health tests

she had a breast cancer scare a while back. a biopsy came back OK, but she has to do special mammograms (clearly, I don't know much about this stuff...) every 6 months for...I don't know. A while. she really doesn't go deep into specifics with me...I had to press her a bit just to find out her "medical test" is a mammogram. Anyway....

please pray. the procedure is tomorrow. its an outpatient thing, she gets to drive herself to and fro. I can tell she's nervous, but...its (sadly...) a necessary thing, isn't it? so...yeah...please pray for my mama.

oh, and while I'm on the subject...I'd also like to Praise The Lord for willing that my mama could retire and my parents can still have a decent lifestyle, plus she probably retired -just- in time, in terms of overall health and the stress of dealing with an increasingly -toxic- work environment. I mean...it was rough. Any job can get rough. Her job got unnecessarily rough, dealing with big ego, self-important, power trippin' people, day in and day out. there was -no- winning there...if you make less $$$, they power trip. when she started making more $$$ than most people in her area, the daggers were out. blah. so...yeah...I Praise God for making a way for mama to retire and enjoy the rest of her life, with my dad, me, and her cats and dog. Life goes on, thanks to Christ...

me, yet again. mama's tests are actually -tomorrow-. sorry for the mix up. saw her today, she seems good, overall. i'd be beside myself with nervous tension, but she's doing well...day-to-day stuff, taking care of Boss Lady (that's what she calls the 9lbs house dog, lol), etc.

Verna told me she had to do the 6 month mammograms for a couple years, too. no fun (I imagine...), but largely a precautionary measure, so...that's a good thing. Oh, and thank y'all for your prayers re: mama's colonoscopy. She's cancer free, just some much less severe issues that may not even require Rx treatment.

OK. Thanks for your prayers and support, etc. Keep those prayers comin', if you don't mind...
