been stung by a few hornets, I didn't surprise me that they get big. im surpised those don't live here. old fossils of large dragonflies have been found in my county( 4 ft was the largest they got but I think the one found here was about a foot.. those do bite. I have had that pleasure.

i had my encounters with hornets.. i was a kid i caught one in my dad truck thought it was horse fly lol..needless say i let go

I saw (and reported it) in yesterday's news report. Wow that sure is the biggest bee/hornet nest that I ever saw.
