Psalm 91

Thank you Rockie, I have been and will continue to pray for his safe return.

I read an article a few days ago and that is how I found out. He was not returning my e-mails so I was worried something had happened. My heart is so very sad over this, but C trusts in the Lord for his protection, we trust in the Lord and not our senses.

A person will not find a kinder, more fruit filled brother than C.

I am so so sorry, after I started this thread, I then found out they have located his body not far from his home.

There is a racial war going on in SA, and many whites are killed for the color of their skin.

He was like a father to me and I will miss him dearly. God have mercy on us all.

Until we meet again brother.......
 
I have had many debates with him on another site, and disagreed with him many times, but I know he knew the Lord Jesus Christ. He had said he lived in a dangerous city, and I think it was Cape Town, where my church sends a delegation yearly on mission trips.

It is hard to believe that he is gone at the hands of evil men. But we who know Jesus will see him one day.

He lived near Pretoria, an area known for car jackings. His vehicle is still missing.

It is a loss for many, he has an 85 year old mother and a sister living in Australia. He was loved by many brothers and sisters in Christ.

God has promised us there will be no suffering and C is in that place now. Prayers for his loved ones, family and friends, especially his mother. An article from an Afrikaans paper translated to english.

Artist Cornelius Bosch's burnt body was found on Monday next to the Zambezi main road in the north of Pretoria.

This is in the vicinity of his home from which he disappeared on 24 February.

The newspaper : Beeld, reported earlier that his friends became worried about him because there were no signs that he left prepared to go somewhere as his Bible and toiletry were still at home... nothing was missing from his home.

Bosch's vehicle is still missing... dentistry reports proved that it was Bosch's body that was found.

As an artist Bosch was a famous for his expressionistic paintings of flowers and dramatic and classic paintings of landscapes.
 
I will miss C, not only was he my Brother in Christ, but I truly felt that he was like a real brother to me. We even used to exchange e-mail's.

I am sorry Rocky, truly I am. He was a viable member here and we will all miss his insight, as well as his loving and kind demeanor.

The words he used to describe you, reflect what you have written about him.

I met him on another site, then here, we were exchanging e-mails almost on a daily basis and when they suddenly stopped, I could not help but to worry, because of all he spoke of how violent SA is.

May we all be comforted by the Comforter.

I am so grieved to hear this. Dear Cornelius will be sorely missed. I did pray that God would allow us know what happened, and I thank Him that we do.

I know that we all can be comforted in knowing that, whatever the circumstances were, our brother is now safe with the Lord. I know we will all uplift his family in prayer.


 
I don't even know how to express in words how I feel. I am so grieved over this. He had such a beautiful spirit. I pray for the comfort of his friends and family.

The only consolation I have is in knowing He is with Christ right now, the only place he would ever want to be.

Thank you Lord for allowing me the chance to meet such a humble servant of Yours.

It is so hard to loose someone you love to a senseless murder – especially of something as stupid as race. We all bleed red after all. My husband was murdered a couple of years ago, and I have to admit; I’m a little emotional now.

I am sorry about your husband, you are so right, these murders are so senseless. I was not aware of what is going on in SA until I met C, and as I began to research the deaths there, and for, like you have said, the color of skin, for a cellphone or, in this case what seems like it was for a vehicle, the rest of world may not know the extent of this problem. It's a scary thing when life is so devalued.
