Christian, non, or both? ive got some good comedy suggestions, but they arent christian.

Anyway, here are my all time favorite films that would be a good bet for rental.

God's Must Be Crazy 1 and 2, To Live-Chinese foreign film, Ridicule-French foreign film, Matrix, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Unbreakable.
 
Haha, the God's Must Be Crazy. I forgot about that movie. I think I will go rent it. I love that movie.
 
glad you liked it. My favorite part of the film is the very end when the narrator says that the main character thought he would never find the end of the world. "...then suddenly, there it was!" that part always makes me cry. the innocence of the people is so touching.

Sure wish people posted here more.
 
I read about the bible overtones in the movie the matrix. I also read that they did not intend for it to overtone the Bible... they didnt use it as a guide. It just turned out the way it did. No matter, its a good movie anyway. :biggrin

No one has mentioned my two favorites yet Dead Poet's Society and (please don't laugh) Pollyanna. I don't know of anyone else that will admit to liking Pollyanna.
