Hi All. I need a miracle and it may sound ridiculous. My cat Isabel died. The one I posted a picture of and the one in my profile pic. We think she may have died yesterday on Good Friday and I have the hope for a resurrection. This is not a joke. We realized we hadn't seen her today and I found her under the sink cabinet in one of our bathrooms. I do believe in miracles, but I'm also realistic......but I want a miracle.

I hope you get your miracle Sister. But if you don't, I would thhink that you can look forward to seeing her again (he?) in heaven. Why wouldn't God keep our beloved pets for us for when we cross over? That's how He rolls. He is a good God and has all power over life and death. He even went as far in scripture to say...Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.../

The cat's part of the house. I know the cat's like family so I no need to ask that. Jesus didn't just say just and thy family. Thy house, that sounds deeper than just (human) family. You'll see you kittie again, I betcha a dolla! I hope that thought makes you feel better. :) I do believe it's true.

I'm so sorry to hear about your kitty. :sad And I know how hard it is losing an animal and you have my greatest sympathy. :hug We just passed a poor little kitty on the road on our way to church this morning and it was horrible. I do believe that Edward is right though. Animals are part of the family and I really don't believe that the Lord would separate us from any of our family members whether they have four legs or two. :) You are in my prayers, don't worry, I promise you that you will get through this. Just trust in the Father for just like we learned in church this morning, He is always taking care of us. :cross

I am sorry, Love Through Dove. Cats often become members of the family. My parents and I just recently lost Sebastian, the little house dog. That was rough.

Given how close we become to our animal companions, it wouldn't suprise me if we all end up seeing perfected versions of our earthly pets in Heaven. Till then...

you+your family are in my thoughts and prayers. :)

I'm so sorry I know it is heartbreaking. :hug
How old was Isabel? I remember you posting her picture. She is beautiful. Praying that God will help you through this horrible time.
She was only 5. I just read online that sudden death in cats could be caused by cardiomyopathy (which is a hereditary bad heart), and the 2 breeds that have this most common are the Maine Coon and Persian (which she is). She is beautiful, thank you for your prayers.

Thanks Edward. I do feel like this is the pet I will see in heaven. She was more than just a cat to me because I am at home alone during the day and I could talk to her and she always would answer me in a cute little meow. It didn't matter what I said, she answered.

Sorry about your Sebastain too. I've never felt this way about a pet. Thanks for praying for us. :hug

I found a photo of Cheyenne, in time it will still hurt to remember but the joy these give is greater then pain. I think of my dog often and when my wife calls me as Cheyenne on her bed is her icon. I cant delete that one as its just too much.

It's heart breaking to find your precious pet dead. My cat passed away while laying at the foot of the bed near my feet. I called him Rollie because as a kitten as soon as he saw me he'd roll on his back for a tummy scratch. I always miss him. My heart breaks for you. God keep your precious Isabel and hold you up during your time of grief. You're in my prayers.

God bless you and be with you LovethroughDove. Isabel was only young but she knew her feline instinct to hide away. She must have loved you so much.:hug
