My daughter is 25 and lives/serves as a missionary in Guatemala. She bought a motorized scooter to get around and avoid using the chicken buses. While in Antigua, after a particularly bad and depressing day, she took a corner the wrong way and fell off. She wasn't hurt, except for landing on her knee.

Another American girl her age was there and helped her up. She was invited to join this new acquaintance for supper at her apartment. Sounded sketchy to me, but my daughter assured me she "felt good" about the invite. She's very aware of the dangers of the area.

As it turns out, this is a group of 8 people who are also missionaries who live there and host groups who come to Antigua on short term missions. Specifically, when The World Race comes through. My daughter and this group connected instantly. One young man immediately asked, "Are you hurt?" My daughter mentioned her knee. Without hesitation, he prayed for her knee. It hasn't bothered her since.

Back home (at literally the same time) my wife shared our daughter's depressing day with her prayer group she was attending. They prayed that she would meet a support group for encouragement and strength.

Prayer answered. Mind blown.

I told my daughter that God "tripped her with His big toe" so she would meet this new group.

This is wonderful. All things work together for the good of us which love the Lord.
From the area you come from with stock feeding, it surprises me your that daughter wouldn't be accustomed to chicken busses since cows advertise to "Eat Mor Chiken."
CSU fan? They did finally beat Air Force. :)

Amen! It's brilliant how our Lord God arranges the connections in our lives!
