Can I please ask you to pray for my daughter.
She had breast cancer and went through the chemo and surgery. Today was her yearly review and they are not too happy. She has to go for an ultra sound in about four weeks. She is devastated.
She had many health problems including mental illness and I don't think she is strong enough to go through it all again.
She has lost faith in the Lord And I want her to love Him again like she used to.

so many fight the cancer lady in our church just had test same area as your daughter .. another lady had stage 3 same area in few lymph nodes small spot on back bone cancerous .she will have take meds and scans along way..

severe mental illness is a rough thing, all by itself. you have the actual problems, then you have the social issues, then you have to deal with the shrinks, and...ugh. I"m glad you're there for her. The Lord knows right where she's at, and He is a patient, loving, merciful, long-suffering God. Let's just keep praying.

I'll be praying for you both.
My faith has been stressed many times, and my sons as well.
I believe you built a solid foundation for her in the Lord. She will come back.

We dont like it when God doesnt answer our prayers the way we want him too. We even get angry or disappointed at God when things go in the opposite direction, and its these times our faith is being forged, even if we feel like we've lost all hope. Gods doing a good work here. I know its painful, but hang in there.

Are you familiar with John 6? Pretty radical stuff. Jesus asked, are you going to leave too? Peter replied, where else are we going to go?

We dont always understand God, but he promised that when the rain falls, we will still be standing. Nobody likes the rain, but everyone gets it. Its needed for new growth.

Jesus promised he would never leave us. I believe him, even when I feel alone and were in the storms of life and none of it makes since. I am reminded by the poem footprints in the sand.

Hi Tessa - praying for your daughter! That's an awful thing to go through (for all of you) and I can certainly understand why she's struggling with her faith.
One of my favorites is Psalms 42 and the phrase that repeats after all the mentions of tears day and night and taunting and persecution:
Why are you cast down, O my soul,
and why are you in turmoil within me?
Hope in God; for I shall again praise him,
my salvation and my God.

It has helped me and I hope it helps you too!

Hi Ezra, thanks for asking. She is still waiting for an appointment for the ultra sound. She is not as devastated as she was and she is with me nearly all the time.
