I said this simple prayer last night and I am posting it here just in case it helps anyone else get through what I am going through right now.
"Lord, as I am about to get baptized in your name, I only ask that you hold me tightly in your arms and protect me from the evil inside of me that is telling me that I am no longer yours and that you don't exist. For I know that since I have believed upon your name that I am yours and I wish to serve you and you alone. For you are the light and the way and I trust you with all of my heart to lead me out of the path to temptation and straight into your arms. Please make my faith stronger as well as the ability to resist Satan and the lies that he tells me. This I ask in your name, amen."
